Tell your parents that it is for the good of mankind and that you must face the evil minions to save them! Or tell them that you want to study "history" (the history of Dereth ofcourse.. but don't tell them that part!)

Come on, you're 15 I see.. surely you can come up with a measley $20. It's a $19.99 download at www.Direct2Drive.com and includes your first 30 days ($12.95 per month afterwards). Doing extra chores always seemed like a great way to earn a few extra bucks when I was a teenager... ofcourse it was much easier to just sweet-talk them or use them against each other, lol. "Mom, Dad said you'd buy the new Asheron's Call for me for ONLY $19.99 if I took out the trash!" ..."Yeh mom, it needs your credit card numbers, it's on the computer ready for your card # now!" ;P

Nah, I'm sure a poor youngins such as myself could find a entertaining Free MMORPG, to pass the time::::28::

Only MMORPG I have payed for up till now is WoW, and i was fairly dissapointed, considering the ongoing costs.
Good game, yes...but not worth the hard earned cash...(aka grovelling). LMAO
I've has my runs with P2P games, and I have concluded, for myself anyways, that I should stick to F2P games.::::33::

EQ1 was not nicknamed everscrack for nothing.

FFXI is the only game I know of where people buy special $75 clocks and set alarms at obscure times just to login for 10minutes of crafting. And I even knew a few people at work who had the vana'diel timer on their palms.

    Definately falls under addiction IMO.

Yep.  I hated myself for not being able to tear myself away from that game.  They were not only first (well 2nd counting UO), they were the best, imo.

I'm going to get flamed for this, but I think:

    World of Warcraft

Level 1-60 is simply addicting. I enjoy every minute, every level, every death I experienced. Never before in my gaming life I wake up early and sleep late simply because I want to play more. Not only that, but I think WoW has a lot of humor in it that I really like.

Simply put, level 1-60 is just fun, period.

    Final Fantasy XI

It seems silly to me now that I was addicted to FFXI. True the leveling system is second job itself.. but I truly enjoy some of the parties I had, and my fun Linkshell. And the crafting system and the in-game time... waking up at a certain time just to click something then going back to sleep.. that's addiction!

I've played a lot of games... but these 2 were the only ones able to keep me addicted for a long time.
I wish there is a new MMO right... I'm so bored :(

I vote for WoW, although Eve-online is a good one too. But the game i played the most ever must be Diablo 2 Hardcore .)

EQ1 for me no doubt. That game almost ruined my life years ago. EQ1 = the devil.

U pry dont consider this a  MMO o even a RPG.....

Age of Empires 3 i cant ever stop iv played that game ever since the first one came out i have all teh expansions an ever thing

If ur talkin about MMO's i say Runescape iv been playin it for years i do hate it but its the only game i really have an i by alot of ps2 games so i dont have much pc games at all *sigh* rs does suck but i always catch myself on it...

Whenever i step outside, somebody claims to see the light
It seems to me that all of us have lost our patience.
    'cause everyone thinks they're right,
And nobody thinks that there just might
Be more than one road to our final destination--

I used to be addicted to Diablo 2. I have also been addicted to pre-CU SWG, especially back in its bare beginnings in 2003 and the beginning of 2004.

Now the only thing I'm addicted to is Taekwon-do and Karate. Wether it's better than being addicted to a game or worse, I don't know. My muscles ache from the continious workouts but I just can't stop. I could recommend it to anyone.

i think in most cases, the most addictive MMO is your first.

I have been to a few forums and seen the 'addictive' call  on Everquest, Asherons Call 2(this was surprising) and WoW. All incidentally strongly level-based..

WoW defiantly. It's the only game that I can stay up all night playing and not get bored of it. What I mean is, usually with other games when I'm awake at like 1 am, I'm tired. And when I'm tired games aren't as appealing. But with WoW thats changed.
