meh its not too bad, it just has a long way to go before it actually becomes playable for most ppl. they need to add quests and it would be nice if they uped the monster drop rate cause its a pain to try and buy new skills at that price. other than that its not too bad

There are no quests. No one talks to you to help you. Respawn rate isn't good enough so you're constantly looking for monsters to kill that haven't been taken by a large group of newbies. The graphics are dreadful. The only source of help is this annoying sprite that follows you around telling you the same things like "too much pvp makes for a dull boy" or something. Limited character customization. And don't get me started about the having to click after every two attack animations to resume attacking, how dumb!

It feels like Deicide should still be in closed beta. Or have existed three years ago or something.

Have been trying it out for a while, since it's fairly new (new as in recently just started open beta). So far, is a typical "Korea Clone"...with it's style, design, play, contents, Etc. all-too-basiclly similar to the dozens of other asian-made MMO's that have come out in the last couple years or so. At the moment, there's really only 2 characteristics that are even slightly different than the most of them... the horses and castles (a couple of the other MMO's have these, though, so not exacely "unique").

Right now, it's definitley a "Beta" version, and still has a lot of work needed. Quests are still completley non-existant. wether or not they ever will get put in, is a big question, since it's company's (Ongamport) predecessor (Thang Online) was "supposedly to have them too, but after 2 years still has never had any work done to put them in there. And, allthough it's only been a couple weeks, their overall management of their new game hasn't seemed to be much better than they've done the whole time with Thang (which really hasn't been anywhere near the standards that a MMO should have). Also, they apparently learned little after 2 years running Thang, because they already have the same problems with macroing and hacks that Thang has constantly had since day 1, of which they have demonstrated virtually no ability to prevent to date.

The one things it has going for it, is it supposedly will always be "free" to play, allthough they plan to be implementing one of those "Premium Item Shops" to generate income. So, as is common with the other such games using the same practices, I have little doubt that the "free" aspect of the game will, (like the other out there), be at the very least, moderatley crippled or "gimped", in order to try and get people to use their shop so as to be able to play a "normal" full game. Before they go that far though, they need to get a lot more done with it. Item upgrading is as yet non-productive. As mentioned, quests definitley need to be put in, as they now have lowered the normal exp. gain to a miserable rate above around level 20 and above, with the exception of the 4 daily "Bonus Exp. hours Event". Bugs still need to be worked out. Some method to be able to "police" in-game player behavior needs to be implemented. And it could really use more content that is unique, for at the moment, everything is just "kill these types of monsters till you get to xx level, then go on to the next higher types and repeat...again and again...and that's ALL, so far....

So, in all, it could have some potential, but really needs to have more added to it overall as far as content goes. Otherwise there really isn't enough of much to differentiate from all of the other Clones already out there. A couple of PvP controlled castles just aren't going to be enough to cut it, if that's all that's going to be there. Time will tell, to see if they have learned anything from their previous experience, or really listened to their players all that time. So far all of that is questionable...
