how to creat an account ?

ok i am gonne import this game but i first need to know how i can creat an account !
do you creat an account ingame or via a browser ?
you are wondering why i am asking this is bc i am allowed to use some1 his CC but he doesn't live in the same city as me !And he just can't give me his CC number,ofcourse you know that ! So was thinking he could creat an account for me so ....
this why i need to know this !

Sir-Anima your best bet is to have the other person 'create' the account for you then email you the username and password. After that you can change the password so that you only have access to the services.
If that person is not willing to do that then there is no way you can create an account without giving a cc #, hope this helps....

Please be aware that to create an account you have to have a full copy of FFXI which retails for 49.99 on the PC and is due to the PS2 in March.

yea that was my idea of doing that
but i needed to know if you can creat an account with the browser or if you needed to do it ingame but if i read your post i seems you have to creat the account in a browser
You have to own and have FFXI installed on your PC or have a HDD for the PS2(March) before you can do anything. Both include a feature called PlayOnline which is a mini-browser that allows you to play Square-Eqnix games.
You have to create a 'Handle' with POL before you can play any of the games. but you also have to purchase a 'contentID' which cost .01 within the POL browser. All of this requires a CC#.
There is no other way to create anything for FFXI or POL without owning the game in one shape or form. So buy the game, ship it to your friend, have him install it, create the accout to your instructions, mail back your copy of FFXI and have him foward your userID and password.

mmm isn't there a way that the guy that is gonne creat a handle and that doesn't own ffxi ?

i can just let him pas my house and let him creat an account for me that is absurt !
