I gave him sound advice to be "Effective" at his skill level.what did you do? just spam whats been working for you?

Assuming he has medium lasers 1, it might take him 2 days and a bit of change to get to the setup I suggusted. You gave him sound advice to be marginally effective (but not really, since a prophecy would be faster) and never learn to be better. There are a lot of people who are marginally effective and never getting better in EVE. It doesnt need more.
okey, the large pulse lasers are overkill on the level 3 missions, i cant hit the small ships with those big suckers.. so shall i just change to medium ones? (all 7) (aint gonna touch my tractor beam)
someone said to use a webifier, to slow down small ships, i guess that makes it easier to hit with bigger guns?, is this needed if i take those smaller lasers?
someone else said that i should switch to medium drones instead of heavy. i have fully trained for medium scout drones so i guess i will pick 5 medium instead of 3 heavy (not fully trained) ?.
and just to make something clear i aint really all that n00b, i have goals to train to fly my battleship effectivly both in gunnery and armortank, but since you all know this aint done with 6m skillpoints, i am just trying to survive as long as possible, and upgrading when things change.
in the meantime i am training for these things i am playing missions, in this case level 3 ones, and my Phrophecy was shot to pieces by some pirate so thats why i aint flying a battlecruiser on my missions, (as i already had a battleship).
