Im starting MMO's this summer....Reccomendations anyone

This summer i am gonna start an MMO....  Never played one but heard good things....anyways to make a long story short what do you guys reccommend.

    You've got to tell us a little more about what kinds of games you like and why you like them, otherwise you might as well just read the reviews and decide that way.

    With some detail we can tell you a lot more about what it is you might like.

    i liked kingdom hearts, all the final fantasys , hack but those are just rpgs

    So many people ask this question and it all has to do with what type of game you personally like.  Do not buy any of the games that are currently out.  DO NOT!  Wait for one of the games that will be coming out this summer or earlier.....Everquest 2, Ultima X Odyssey, World of Warcraft, Lineage 2, or Guild Wars (is this coming out this summer?)

    Anyways...you need to check out the sites for these games and see which fits your style best.  Maybe even try and get into one of the beta tests so you can get a feel for this type of game.  Since you are new to MMO's...any of these games will seem spectacular to you.  However, once you get several under your belt, you will find yourself criticizing everything imageimageimage

    I would recommend getting 1 of the 5 games I mentioned above.  If you aren't ready to pay the annoying subscription fees, then go for Guild Wars!  That is the only MMO that will not have a subscription fee image

    thanx...i may get guild wars...but everquest 2 sounds pleasing besides the subscription...i will pay but if EQ2 gets pushed back i am definitely gettin guild

    Usually I don't care about PvP at all...but this is the one game where no PvP on launch is simply retarded. Comic book heroes simply must play against comic book villains...both powered by people.

    I guess it's just the Champions background in me.
