If the Bucs aren't in it, I don't care how it ends. (unless it's one of the teams I dislike, like the Lambs or the Beagles or the MudPackers or the Raiders.. then obviously I'm pulling for the other team to win)

Do not count out the Panthers. As a hapless and longsuffering Saints fan, I watched them beat the stew out of the WhoDats twice this year (including traveling to NO to watch them stomp the Saints in the Dome). Everyone has underestimated them all year long (me included), and doggoned if they aren't going to the Super Bowl. I think they'll take the Pats precisely because no one gives them a chance.

Personally I'm pulling for Carolina because Jake Delhomme is a former Saint who backed up Fumblina Brooks. In a brilliant move, NO let Jake go and kept Aaron. Who's laughing now?

The only thing worse than being a Saints fan would be being an Arizona Cardinals fan.

im going for the pats because ted bruski man can never spell his lastname i played football with him in highschool. im a skins fan myself THANK GOD GIBBS IS COMING BACK. bad thing is is that ted might not play in the superbowl.

No, the only sport i've seen longer than 5 minutes is slamball, that sport owns. I also watch whatevers on X-games. But other than that i'd rather be playing sports other than WATCHING people play them.

Yeah, it looked so gay, until someone jumped on the trampoline and he hit his head on the basketball rim and was knocked out. I watched it for at least another 7 minutes .

And football isn't that bad i'll give it that. But one of the worst REAL sports ever is baseball, I don't understand how you can watch that. I fell asleep during the fourth inning.

I've followed American pro football since roughly 1983. (I say roughly because I was just a little kid back then and my memory of that time is spotty at best) Over the years, between football watching and participating in other things like bowling leagues, (yes, I know, questionable as to whether or not it's a sport.. but it is a competitive physical activity, so I feel it's somewhat relevant to my point.. you'll see why shortly) I've discovered something about sports: They're sort of made for people who drink.

Try it sometime, (if you drink and are of legal age.. I'm not promoting underage drinking here) and see what I mean. Watch a football game (or whatever else you care to watch that's considered a sport) sober.. and then watch another one while drinking. Much more enjoyable. Yep, before I started drinking, I sort of watched football.. but once I started, I watched it a lot more. Even games by other teams that I don't really care about, on occasion. (I have NFL Sunday Ticket on satellite)

This may seem hideously obvious to some, and a bad joke to others. Well, it's a little of both, and somewhere in between. The point is: If you watch a sport just for the sake of watching that sport, there's a good chance you may think it sucks unless you're REALLY into it. If you watch it to have a good time and loosen up and what not, (which alcohol tends to make easier, but is not required) it might be a little more palatable.

Yeah, I rambled a bit too much in this one. Just killing time until it's time to drive down to the hospital again. Damned 80-mile round trips every day this week. Ugh.

chances are that the patriots will win. Odds are in their favor but htat slight chance they could lose. I am hoping for a new england loss and it happens i plan to take bijanis mom out on the town one night. If it doesnt happen i prolly will still take her for that night on the town. In fact I will... Anyways if new england loses I will be happy...

And dont forget, good things can turn bad like ummm whats that game that Djinn hailed before it came out...and then it stunk...o yeah star wars galaxies.......ha

OK, back to something slightly more serious.

It has already been foretold who will win this year's Super Bowl.

The New England Patriots.

Why? Because a Panther player is on the cover of this week's Sports Illustrated.

The SI "cover jinx" is alive and well this football season. Started around the time when KC was still undefeated.. they got on the cover of SI, even pointing out how they were still undefeated, and then the Bengals beat 'em. More recently.. last week's cover had Donovan McNabb on it, if I recall.. and you saw how that ended up.

No, I'm not really superstitious. Just thought I'd make light of this while I could.

I don't follow the sport, but i do watch a game or two on espn every now and then and it's fun to watch. Anyways sorta off this topic, anyone ever watch the Terry Tate office linebacker videos? well guess what, Feb 1st hes back
