I don't mean to sound impatient here, but it has been 48 hours since the winners of the free 60 day accounts have been announced. I've never won a contest before, so I'm not sure how long these things take.

I'm not impatient, I am just curious, because I don't know how the system works. All I know is that it shouldn't take longer than 48 hours to shoot an email saying you can give us the keys now. I am very excited about trying out Horizons. My subscription renews on my DAoC account tomorrow and I was hoping to find out a dead line on when we would get these keys. I mean honestly...who want to resub to a game that they will only be playing for a week?

Well thanks for any info you can provide me and thanks for the patience in answering my questions. I know I sound impatient, but I really am not. I just like to know what's going on with everything that effects my life, including my video games.

    They might be waiting to confirm all the winners before sending out emails. Looks like a bunch of people just got disqualified and a new group replaced those.

    Hmm, I Thought it was odd people for killed from the contest, I wonder why..

    also, This is my first time winning anything from mmorpg.com, shame it had to be for a game barely anyone plays/has a bad review.

    Ah, well, I'm willing to give it a try.

    Oh question, Will they be sending out dvd's with a cdkey via mail? or downloadable game + emailed CDkey?

    Seriously Doubt that my friend, I think we are just getting the download/key. btw remember dudes. your Credit card number is indeed required still for the 2 month period.

    OK, sent a message this morning asking for a partial list.


    But they're in Hawaii and I'm not.


    And I've got oh...93 other things to do right now? (you're in the top 3)


    BTW, they patched a new client yesterday that's got some sound bugs
    (they're fixing a sound problem that's existed for 2 years) and you'll
    want to read up on it.  Doesn't stop gameplay, just makes for some
    interesting sounds...


    Hopefully, by the time I receive your emails, assign your keys and get
    them to you, it'll be fixed but it's engineering so JUST IN CASE.

    Just like any other of the 50+ MMOs out there. You can use an ATM card as a "Credit Card".

    How would they know you don't have access to a credit card?

    Once you receive the key, should you need to transfer it, simply reply and we'll work it out.

    Not trying to be mean or rude but they should droup his ass and send out the keys. if they dont want a free key thats they're problem.

    Is it possible to get a EU key instead of a US key? Pleeeeaaase......would be terribly nice!
    All my guild mates are on the EU server - perhaps i start paying for HZ after the free time.
