The vampire debate

ThoninThonin Member Posts: 22

Earlier this week my brother comes home from work a little later than normal and says he was bitten by a vampire. He seemed quite calm about and when asked said he held no ill will for the night walker. He then went on to say he was actually kinda happy about it, citing how cool vampires were. I, like any rational person, acted surprised yet supportive of his soon-to-be new life style. Of course, later that night while he was asleep (he hadn't turned yet), I plunged a wooden "stake" into his heart. Actually it was a widdled down leg of a chair we have in the kitchen. Well, technically speaking, I guess any piece of wood when widdled into a point on one end becomes a "stake", so I digress. At any rate the undead bastard was dead and thats all that mattered. He was my brother, but I couldn't just have a vampire walking around my apartment. People frown on that.

I have to agree with my late brother; vampires are cool. I just wouldn't want one as a roommate. With that out of the way I'll ask the real question everyone should ask themselves.

Would you want a vampire as a roommate and why?

I've had some pretty freaky roomates, you get then when you live on campus, although I can honestly say I've yet to drive a "stake" through any of their hearts.

Given the opportunity though, not sure I'd mind a vamp roomy. I mean, when you think of it, you'd have someone to hang out with pretty much all night, there's always someone up looking over the place and if they clean, that much better!

More then that, you'd save on food bill, electricity for lights AND you know their not going to bring the flu or cold home and make you all sicky.

Most true vampires want to remain anonymous. And thanks to some people's fixation with them and the pseudo vampires around, most can live without being molested.

That is, if they do exist...

The way you play the game is the way you live your life.
