I took a look at the Lineage 2 screenshots

I'm more of a Sci-fi player myself but when I saw those screen shots (http://www.lineage2.com/pds/pds_image.asp ) I was shocked.
Best fantasy mmorpg graphics I have ever seen...hell, best graphics period...L2 may give SWG a run for their money in terms of graphics. I just hope the graphics arent the only good thing about it.
People who have to create conspiracy and hate threads to further a cause lacks in intellectual comprehension of diversity.

As they say, each to their own opinion. Far as EQII, I believe well have to wait until the game is in testing phase or out. They seem to change things so much, its really hard to judge. I've seem many trying to compare EQII with EQ, you just can't do that. This is a new year for many wonderful games that are getting released.
Who knows, we might all be surprised upon release of all the games.
I am counting on surprises. It's going to be really interesting in the next year or two, as a lot of games are released, to see which ones are good, which ones are bad, and which ones are just plain ugly.
I appreciate the detail of the EQ2 screenshots, but I don't care for the look too much. I prefer the L2 look. I don't see it so much in terms of difference of quality as difference of style. But we will have to see how they look on our own screens to really know what looks best, won't we?
As many people around here like to say, graphics are nice, but it is the game that counts. For me, that's definitely true.

I like to think of it as a cake. Gameplay, is the base of the cake. Graphics, are the icing on it.
you can't have good graphics without good gameplay just as you can't eat icing without the actual base of the cake.(unless your some sort of twisted freak
)
Althought when you put both of them together, it's awesome.

anywho, flamers aside, from what I hvae played L2 is a good game, nice graphics, heavy emphasis on PvP
Feature wise, its not really revolutionary, nothing really interesting that hasnt already been done.
it does look good though
and Im not in the position to talk about EQ2 as I haven't done more than look at 1 or 2 screenshots, EQ never really interested me.
after 6 or so years, I had to change it a little...
Whoa, easy... I never said i liked eq2. As a matter of fact, i don't like them at all. I was just saying that eq2's graphics have lots of detail and good textures. I would definitly choose linage2's over eq2's because L2's is very artistic.
And since it's the same company that made swg i don't think i can trust eq2.
gotta admit the graphics are nice, but I'm more about the gameplay too.
p.s. notice that most of the pics are female elves? lol
