As a general guideline, I've found that the more personal info you give out, the more it gets used against you at a later date. However, all I'll say is that I'm old enough to be your father. (fortunately I didn't have a kid at 18.. [or now, for that matter] I'd make a rotten parent.. heh)

Suppose you'd love my little "collectible", then. (here's a hint: any time you play a first person shooter that has a "K98" or a "Mauser", that's their game-representation of my fine German-designed firearm) image

I had a 44 magnum for about 10 days. I shot an oak tree and when I saw the damage, it freaked me out so I returned it. That thing could blow a man's leg off.:::^(::

Dude thats like 200 dollars in ammo. LOL

Plus the kick on one of those is insane. He must have gotten a custom.

I fired an M14 at a firing range. The power of one of those...man guns facinate me, but guns scare me half to death.

Guns eh?  I have a few too.  I have a Desert Eagle .44 Magnum - fired about 25 shots through it...highly impressive firearm...but a toy and collectors item more than a practical weapon :)  I also have a Glock 22 (.40 calibur) it has had the AeroTek conversion with overhead barrel ports and a grip activated laser sight.  Break into my house and this is what you will be meeting real fast (if my German Shepherd doesn't rip your neck open first).  I also have a Colt .357 Magnum "Python" with a factory modified hair-trigger.  This was my fathers - so it is just for show.  And I still have my first gun, a Winchester .22 rifle that was my dads when he was a little kid...so it is like 50 years old...hehe.

I have not even fired a gun in like 2 years...since I moved to Hawaii there is just no place to discharge firearms...and people here really don't like guns.  So you can't even find ammo anywhere.

Oh well, no crime here really, so I guess I don't need them, LOL.

I've never fired a gun, closest thing to doing that was about 2 years ago getting to have a look at a few military ones but nothing more. I'm glad i live in a country (Australia) with strict firearm laws.

Yep, you are lucky.  If they could remove all firearms from this country I would give mine up too...but as long as the criminals have them I will keep one around ;)

I have seen those police videos. The real ones, not "COPS". Lets just say that shooting someone, even with a basic berreta does NOT leave a clean hole, it leaves a crater.::=^*::

If hollow point rounds are used, yes.  A hollow point slug is designed to create "stopping" power by transferring it's energy into the target...some are further designed to spread apart making even a bigger mess.  Hollow points are common ammo for pistols as they are good for defense because they take targets to the ground like a baseball bat.

Jacketed bullets (pointed) will pass clean through the target.  These are more common in rifles because they maintain accuracy and increase distance.
