What MMORPG to play as an ARCHER WIZARD or RANGED WEAPON MAGE

Looking to find a MMORPG that has archery wizard or ranged mage. I'd like it to be one of thos pay to play MMORPG not FREE. I use to play gemstone4 where i was an archer wizard, able to fire a longbow arrow every 1sec with HASTE wizard spell up and rapidfire. Does anyone know of any MMORPG where you can be a wizard archer where you can use your spells to rapid fire arrows better than any ranger would ever dream of? I know neverwinter has arcane archer, there any others? anyone ever tried this route before being a mage archer?

    try EQ that game rocks (P2P) but great game, i think if u train wiz alot u might be able to use a bow. but alot of the the other classes like ranger and stuff has lots of spells any ways

    I was thinking of EQ, but how does the training work? can i just train in rangedweaponry and the rest in wizard? I couldnt find any forums where ppl have tried it, the reason I insist on wizard/mage is because i wana be able to enchant and use all of the wiz spells like haste/strength/rapidfire etc... i find that most imms/gm in other games where archerywizard was aloud have fround upon this because one on one a WIZARD ARCHER vs RANGER ARCHER is far stronger and quicker because of his wizspells. Sure the wizard will never be able to snipe/hide/ambush/aim like a ranger does because it costs too much, but in plain archery skills I've found a wizard can fire arrows quicker/faster/stronger without the need to snipe/hide/aim etc... making it a uber archer, which is why its soo much fun.

    i dont know because in EQ mages can make mondo buck at high lvls by casting spells on people (some effects alst like 24 hours) but i dont know because i dont have to pasintce to train a wiz

    is FFXI payperplay? I dont mind if its FREE as long as the graphics are awesome.

    Yea i've been there done that, PURE MAGE is fun as hell! It takes an eternity though to train, what I use to do was cheap though; I had an old pure mage to spellup the youngin archermage with two accounts open, which I plan to do.

    Too bad you can't buy charachters on ebay for EQ anymore, all the other MMORPG everyone buys/trades charachters, which makes it easier for someone to buy a superold wizard to spellup your young warrior/ranger/cleric/etc.

    wizards can't use bows in EQ

    I would have to suggest either Dransik or ultima online, although Dransiks graphics aren't that amazing your ranged mage hybrid is achievable with quite decent results.
