(FFXI) Camping ghouls 4 nightfalls in a row to get the magicked skull quest item (you get your subjob). 6 hours later i went to a mine and got high levels to help me kill ghouls in there. 1 hour later i figured they were too high for me so we thought of an idea that i stay at the entrance of mine while they kill so there's no level gap. 30 minutes later we finally got the skull.
In total, i say it was about 8 hours to get it, but 'twas all in good fun

(SWG) Getting a whole bunch of people up to invade a tusken fort. Thanks to the many bugs of SWG, the raiders could shoot you through the walls and you can't even see them. I ended up running around slowly dieing while everyone else ran away. After i died, i had to heal my wounds for about half an hour.

DAOC- For Midgard/Lancelot i think i hold or atleast held the record for longest time sitting, waiting to join a group just on the hill from Gjalpinulva's lair in Malm(forgotten the actual name of that area) i logged on at 10am already in the area and eventually got into a group at 5pm, it was a very busy day

One day i went to electronics boutique, and the guy there acted as if he was a 1337 gamer
he reccomended some games...but most of all, he kept reccomending a game called shadowbane!
this game was new at the time, and it was priced HIGH at $40.... me, falling into the luring lies of the guy, purchased the game, thinking he was a gamer, and he knows best...
I put it into the computer...install it
get my moms credit card number (with a little bit of arguing) and subscribe...
*TUN TUN TUN!*
the game was lag filled! the graphics sucked! and worst of all...
it was...

i went back to EB the next day and confronted the man who sold it to me, I asked him what he thought of it, and what he played etc...the information he gave was inaccurate..turns out...he never played it!
i called eb when i got home, and started yelling at the guy, then i asked for his manager (all this acting anonymously), and he said the dreaded words...
"I AM THE MANAGER!"
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

Camping my final Cleric Epic component for over 35 hours. The first version spawns. My guild proceeds to kill him and trigger the next spawn... As soon as his next spawn appears another guild jumps into the fray and Steals him from us.
Ok, you might be saying to yourself "well a GM can help you there..." funny thing is after constant Emails and petitions I get to talk to a GM and he simply says "sorry I cant help you."
You can bet your ass that me and my guild were pissed so on our second try we first sent a tell to a GM warning him that we will not let anyone get in our way even if they were thier first... we gather EVERY member of my guild (100+ lvl 60 members) and rape everything in the zone for 24 hours till he pops up. Me wins
Not really horror at the end but in the beginning it was bad ><
I installed Asheron's Call 2.
End of story.
What will he do next?
