anyone know if they mean jan 26 at the stroke of midnight TONIGHT or the 27th at the stroke of midnight TOMMOROW night?

    Yep, contest in 1 hour.  That is if I don't lose elecrical power here.  I have been having flickering power all day...if it goes out I won't have access to draw the winners (it is web based interface).

    The good news is that I actually hold the access codes to the winning slots...to prizes will be fully issued within 6-8 hours after everyone confirms!

    Well that was quite efficient, *checks luck... "They will draw your name than have a power outage and it will be lost forever mwahahaha" - that is why you never buy Chinese fortune cookies made in Mexico.

    No the web servers are in New York...they are protected by UPS batteries and furthermore a deisel generator.

    However, I am in Hawaii - and we are having some wicked tropical storms at the moment...for the last few days actually.  And our power company is nothing short of a joke :)

    The problem is that I draw the winners from a web based interface...so if I can't access the internet I can't push that magical button image  But there is no chance of lost data...

    Bad news...I have no power.  I am currently on my laptop and running my DSL modem on my UPS battery.  I don't know how long it will last.

    I will attempt to connect again at midnight to draw the winners and send e-mails.  If you don't hear from me - stick around and wait...I will be back one I have power!

    To clear my curiosity as well, when you enter the contest it says:
    "the more times you log in, the better chance you have!"

    How do we have a better chance? hehe - maybe our names are just 'put in the hat' more then others if you log in more! lol
