Transformers MMORPG

Since there will be a movie comming out now on the popular series. Transformers



How many of you guys would like to see them come out with a MMORPG as well?  Personally I think it would be awesome and I think the RvR possibilites are endless.

    I guess so... but why is it these days all up and coming MMOs seem to be based around pre-existing franchises. How about some original ideas?

    TBH I don't think it would make sense, I mean there really wouldn't be that many different vehicle types that would make sense for characters.

    Would be very cool, but It would have to be cleverly made. Something with the complexity like EVE Online.

    Think of it. Transformers are pure technology driven. And they are allways batteling and trying to make more advanced tech over the other side.

    Getting technology, upgrades, crafting, war machines, ships etc etc etc....MAN I want to play it now.

    And the game should have the same advanced cutomization as City Of Heros/Villians, but naturally your looks will change as you get more upgrades etc....

    This could be so fun!!

    Ahh, this brings back memories from my childhood...

    I do not think that it would be a mmo that I personally  would enjoy for long :)

    (I'm more of the sword clashing fireball throwing rifle wielding kind of player)

    This is all I got to say. IF they did make a transformer MMO. It would be a failure like SWG NGE.

    I think it would be about as much fun as COH- I'd love the character creation (provided I got to choose robot/vehicle modes) and then get bored and want to re-create a character.

    But that's why you'd introduce the ability to upgrade and further customize in both vehicle and robot form. The Transformers license is one of the few that I think could really be tapped into to bring new concepts to the MMO genre. I mean, franchises like LOTR and Conan are great, but when I look at them I don't see anything inovative within.

    Of course, if a company does make a Transformers MMO it'll probably fail to meet expectations and then everyone here will either be like, "Geez, I really don't know where this game went wrong." or, "Dude. 17 months ago? I told you so. This game sucks"
