Performance?

Hi, i'm wanting to start FFXI but i have a fairly dated computer and i just want to know how well this game will run (i'm fine with running minimum graphics if i must.) Here's my specs:

Pentium 4 2.4 gHz
256mb RAM
GeForce4 MX 64mb RAM
10gb left on the hard drive but i can clear up space if need be.

That's all i can think of right now, if you guys need any more information just ask.

Thanks,
Ante

*Edit*
I found the price for the game itself but i can't find the monthly fee, could someone tell me how much this game costs per month?

you mostly got the recommended system requirements, the game should run just fine. altough I recommend you to get at least another 5gb of free space.

It looks like your system will be fine, but check out the FFXI Vana'diel Bench 3 program if you want.  Run this a couple times through and record your end score and go back to the link below to gauge it.

To answer your other question, the first month has no fee and every month thereafter is $12.95.

And every additional character you make costs $1 extra per month.

The game is old too. It's not one of these new wave omgwtfineedtospend500dollarsonanewgraphicacard games.

The game will run fine, i would advise to either take a lower resolution or turn weather effects off. The weather is very detailed and it always slowed down my old 2.5GHz with a 6800.

You can go to the official website and test your PC using the benchmark, I would suggest freeing up some space, though. Otherwise you should be fine.
