Hey guys what's up,
Why do you like mmorpg games? keep your answers short and simple *no Fighting please lol
I tried Wow*10daypass,
GW(Baught it), and
FFXI(Baught it)
and some free mmorpgs
I liked FFXI the most simply because I loved the leveling system and the way you can kill the mobs (the graphics... or whatever do you wanna call it)
I need your opinions
thank you guys !

FFXI was fun with my friends as soon as they whent I whent too, cause I just didn't find as much fun with it.Though I always like the idea of meeting new friends and such as that.
Siehst du mich
Erkennst du mich
Ganz tief in meinem Herz
ist noch ein Platz f?r dich
Ich suche dich
Ich sehne mich
nach dem was ich geliebt hab
doch ich find es nicht

The interraction with other players. I'm sorely lacking friends in real life.
I'm considered a friendly guy, but never seem to be able to make good friends.
But I'm a passionate gamer and gaming alone is boring
So there you go.. I love MMORPGs because of the people I will meet with definite similar interest.
It's mainly the social part of MMOs that appeals to me, but as i'm not too outgoing (even in MMOs)l, my friends list is never quite as big as i want it to be.

None - Vanguard: SoH

WoW - Paladin 20 - Hunter 20 - Druid 30
City Of Heroes/Villians - Scrapper 30
Final Fantasy XI - Black Mage/White Mage 75
Guild Wars - Warrior/Monk 20 - Assassin/Warrior 20
I enjoy the roleplaying aspect.
I've heard that text-based MUDs have better roleplaying than any of the 3D MMORPGs, but I just can't bring myself to play a MUD, though I have tried a couple. It takes a good deal of imagination to picture the locales as described by the text, but at the same time it's too fast-paced to let me imagine or absorb anything well. So...MUDs just aren't for me. IMO text has its place in books and novel-style forum/email RPGs, not so much in fast-paced mechanics-based MMORPGs.
Anyway, the OOC social aspect is also attractive to me because I'm autistic IRL and have very high difficulty conversing or socializing in person. I don't have that problem in text. Maybe because I have time to compose my responses (almost no such thing as awkward silences in text), and I don't feel pressured to react correctly and figure out subtle body language.
