Per TH,

Due to an issue with Imperial and Rebel Commendation Officers, they are being temporarily removed until the next update.

We appreciate your patience and understanding!

Really, what is the purpose of the Test Center?  Just a month ago SOE had to remove the Respec NPCs within hours of pushing them to live.

    Same reason they pushed the CU or Mustifar or Kashyyyk or anything else through test... to SAY they actually have a test server.

    That, and to make sure it doesn't totally crash the servers when patched. THAT is the only thing they really test, not that the content is working.

    I was on Kashyyyk's test right before they closed it and marvelled at all the question-mark boxes left to fix and outright bugs that abound.

    This was due to the Exploiters. My guess is the fix will be:

    • Delete all existing Rewards that have been purchased (the only way to get these at this point is if you exploited).
    • Increase the commendation cost for all items by 20x.
    • Increase the Commendations awarded by 10x ( 6 weeks later, of course, then increase it to 30x 6 months later).

    I'll start my own SWG... with Black Jack... and Hookers!!!

    In fact, forget the SWG!!!!

    Looks like they are pulling the ground mission NPC's as well...  Bloodfin just had theres removed from restuss...

    UPDATE: They're now pulling ALL of the Ground Combat Quest Givers as well, so...

    NO CONTENT 4 U!!!

    I'll start my own SWG... with Black Jack... and Hookers!!!

    Another note.  Almost every post today is saying the things I said to get banned two days ago.    I used to try to work with them, now I hope they fall flat on their faces and all of them get their butt's pink-slipped.

    Each time this crap happens is each time I get to say that... I love it.  

    Yep, Im being a ass, but at this point -- someone has got to stand up and just freaking call it like it is.. (not that others havnt mind you)..

    We could form a line -- trust me the summit had one over 200 people long..I dare say there is thousands of people that would like a crack at this.

    I did not jump on board until the NGE, I gave the CU a 100% effort and realized it was bad .. BUT not as bad as it could be with fixes... (We all know how that ended up)...

    I will never forget you guy named "My brothers, uncles cousin".. that broke the news that SWG was going to get a vamp --- then I heard about the shipping product carton changes... and I just sunk.   Man that sucked so bad for Thanksgiving...lol

    SOE, just wheny ou think they can't be even stupider.......

    At least WoW can impliment something without it coming out broken. They actually USE their test server.

    I for one was getting scared.  Just when i thought that my workdays were hitting a lull from the lack of swg drama, the boys at SOE help me out by implementing another broken event.  Of course, no surprises with the anger, lag, horrible implementation, and fanboi spin. 

    As its being said, time to warm up the popcorn machine!  AND i've got stadium seating!!!!

    Just wait, things are just starting.

    Next, the xp for quest will be made 1k, and the killer will need to have the mission. Great, working as intended.

    However, the commendation requirements will change, and now 8x more people will be required to drive to the 4 dark trooper spawns in galaxy. Spawn camping will become an issue, and people will realize just how slow the grind really is. Not many will actually endure the time it takes to get a 5300 (!)stats armor. I mean, it's hardly good enough for grinding.

    The 'exploit' people have been using which has lead to this problem has been around at least from the time the NGE went live and everyone was grinding away on the Lava Flea's. SOE 'fixed' that by simply nerfing the XP to hell without fixing the underlying problem, but I guess that's SOE for you.
