Hi. I quit FFXI a long time ago, I'm bored and need somthing to play while I wait for Vanguard and Hero's Journey...Is the UI still really difficult for the PC? or have they added options t make it more user-friendly and such..(PC)

    The UI is pretty much the same as it ever was. The mouse is awful to the point of being unusable. I don't know anybody who tries to play FFXI with the mouse. The keyboard is not bad but is unusual. You'll need to take some time and read the manual to get used to it, but I've heard players who've put the effort into learning it saying they love just using the keyboard. The gamepad is excellent, and if you have a Logitech PS2-style gamepad, you can just plug it in, enable it in the configuration program, and it works just like the PS2. That's how I play FFXI on the PC myself.

    yeah i have a controller for the PC too, thats how I used to play, thanks for the response
