I left when SOE started to allow everyn00b to become a Jedi and was thinking about signing up again. Then I watched a buddy at my local LAN center playing the NGE upgrade. No thanks!
A game worth kick in the groin has yet to be made.
If you mean, would I rather play the NGE for a given amount of time or get kicked in the groin, I'd take the kick.

When Sony and Lucas set out to create the NGE, we said, How can we do this and make it similar to WoW? We wanted it to be all about Iconic characters like Luke, combat and locking our players into a class. So we created a system that would restrict players and make all professions the same and there would be minimal gameplay around making that change. We definitely borrowed a lot of ideas from WoW that worked and figured out how to make them fit for SWG Julio Torres (2005)

If it's a grion kick from SOE then it'll probably be delayed and will be laggy which means the hit won't be so bad, so i'm looking at probably a 3 month window to get my groin kick with no guarantee that it'll be any good.

Not only will it be laggy and weak, they'll miss the target completely and kick you in the shin or hand or something.
