This is going be sweet i hope i get picked for beta to play the game im a big fan of lord of the rings i think it will be good anyone else feel that way

    You can signup here. The beta is still a ways off though. They opened the signups last month.

    But seriously i hope they do a better job than they did with DDO.

    I just signed up right now, and hoped I got pick hehe.. I've tried DDO don't like it very much.

    I think DDO is an entirely different audience than LOTR.... ok well, not entirely. But still, the two IPs in question are completely different. DDO had to be just like the tabletop game, being, that's how it came out. LOTR is pretty open ended, other than the fact that they have to make the IPs lore fit into the game correctly.

    From what i've read, and they keep putting out, the game will be very neat. Hopefully a game with some actually fun PvE and a decent PvP/Consent system in place.

    Its gonna go great to start, then sink like DDO.

    You can ONLY play as good, and no PVP of any kind...not even duel...talk about a waist of time.
    Its like playing a Single player game, but u have to pay monthly fees.....

    They've already announced that there will be concensual PVP.

    Yes, they said there will be PvP it just won't be open. No, it won't be like single player... it will be like any other MMO... as for your waist, you don't need to tell us if you're fat... we don't care.
