Global virus, End of the World, or Hoax????

http://eon8theinvestigation.ytmnd.com/

My brother showed me this thing.  I thought it was kind of stupid at first, but it is pretty intresting.  We are gonna keep it up on our comp till the timer runs all the way down.  Its just somthing to look forward to if you have nothing else to do!  What do you guys think it is?  Obviously I think it is a Hoax, but I guess some people think it is real.  What's gonna happen.....?  The momentom is building!

Im excited!

EDIT:  Here is the timer site even though they put it in the movie.  If you dont want to watch they movie then here it is. http://eon8.com/

EDIT 2:  Opps sorry all!  I didnt look b4 I leaped...or posted.

Does anyone remember Y2K?  More hits on this site the better chance they can actually harm your computer.  Geez.

So many people are refreshing it's page, it's essentially having a DoS attack.

    No longer visiting MMORPG.com.

Sounds more like "viral marketing" to me, including the ytmnd.

Well if the world ends without me knowing, I'll have someone to blame.

Professor Hubert Farnsworth - That question is less stupid but, you asked it in a profoundly stupid way.

When the timer reaches 0:00 it will just be like some movie preview or some huge banner that says:

'HaHa you nubcakes are so vulnerable...'

EDIT: In theory, if your computer is off and disconnected from the internet its impossible to get the virus , so just disconnect your comp from the internet lol?!?!

Lol a not intentional DoS attack haha. The amount of people refreshing the page crashes it haha. Would be pretty funny.
