WoW out of Top Games List?lol?

I wonder why? After many…many…many months you had WoW second behind EVE (lol) and sometimes third behind Guild Wars..(lolx2) and now all the sudden WoW disappeared. Well you can hate WoW all you want but its still the most complete (NOT Perfect) game in the mmorpg market out there .So the least you can do is to give Blizz a credit for it.…many…many months you had WoW second behind EVE (lol) and sometimes third behind Guild Wars..(lolx2) and now all the sudden WoW disappeared. I would beg to differ. I have played all the mmo's out on the market of note EQ, DAOC, WOW etc. WoW is a fun game. I would recommend you come back to DAOC if you haven't tried it. The new grpahics are amazing, the battlegrounds unlike WOW are truly battlegrounds complete with seige warfare and hundreds of people. If is pretty amazing when you can seige a castle and see it crumble. Wow is definetely very limited scope there. I left because I had to wait for 10 and a half hours sometimes just to get into the bgs in WoW. I was thoroughly discouraged with it. I have bounced back and forth from the variuous games on the list here including EVE and I truly can't understand why it is listed number one. It is extremely lonely and boring killing, trading, mining rinse repeat. Graphics...hmm i don't know about stunning graphics but if that is what the wanna say? (note the sarcasm)
WoW has the market by the balls atm. More people play it then anyother. WOW is the EQ of the times right now just like DOAC was EQ1 was and UO was before it and Meridian59 was before that. Guild Wars well it is ok but the reason it is listed so high is the freeness of it. You cornered the market there on people who don't wanna pay to play.
I would recommend a second look at DAOC since all the changes and expansions. I started DAOC in its beta and have left and come back to it 3-4 times over the past 5 years. It is getting to be a complete game. when you say WOW is the most complete I would recommend you try DOAC with all its expansions and then make a verdict. I think you may change your mind.
The only thing that loses me in DAOC is the armor, it's so god ugly. I agree the new graphics update is nice, but the armor is still bland.
Also, this isn't a suggestion, it's an opinion. The fact is that the PEOPLE rate it, not the site, so it's not their fault that we don't like WoW. I play WoW about 2-3 hours a week with my girlfriend (she's an addict) and that's about it. I am an AO player, WoW is just too bland after 60
WoW is a better than the average game. But it was never really deserving a place in the top games IMO. Yes, it is the all-time best seller, that doesn't mean it is among the best game. Blizzard reputation was for much into it.
WoW, in all honesty, deserve a similar ranking as EQ. Yes, it is more polished than old EQ, it has some PvP, but it lack diversity EQ has, it lack the deph EQ has.
WoW is the best tutorial to MMOs out there. If SoE would have release the identical same game and name it World of Norrath, I doubt it would have break the million subscribtion, despite the fact SoE would have been using all the prestige of old EQ, all it prestige, all it marketing.
The end-game in WoW is finally showing it price, it hefty price. And the more time will pass, the more the raiding end-game will have a hefty price on the Blizzard fanbase and WoW alike. Really, Blizzard is now getting in a position where they should change that end-game ASAP to limit the damage, but in the same time, they can't or they will lose sooo much in WoW and the fanbase would take a massive, 1 time, hit...see, raiding end-game is deteriorating Blizzard fanbase, slowly but certainly and there is no stop to that deterioration.
Even if WoW honestly deserve a similar ranking as to EQ, I think it will drop a LOT lower, exactly like it was higher than it was deserving it will be lower, as the hatred settle in more firmly with each passing day. Telling your players they have a good soloing/grouping game and finishing your game by making them feel weaks, lame, second-rated characters...that has a hefty price! And Blizzard is just starting to pay it. Look at SoE if you want to know how heavy such a price can be over the years.
The hero class broken expectation is prolly a key factor in this precise sudden drop however.

I agree, the NEW armor kicks butt. The stuff you can get when you get into the high level areas, but the low stuff still looks like it came out of the days of EQ... oh wait...
