    Gallaid,

As much as I'd love to convince you to come play, there is no PvP in Horizons.

If you're still interested in hearing about it. Let me know.

Yep. Crafting is excellent, but the closest you can get to PvP is going to an arena completely out of the main playing area and get a 10-minute buff that allows you to fight someone who gets the opposing buff. No ranking, no points, no loot, and all the pain of dying. Oh, and you can throw snowballs at other players in the main game area.

Horizons is not in any way balanced for PvP and there are no plans to ever add it. If you like crafting, Horizons has one of the best systems of any game out there. If you can live without PvP, I think you'd have a blast.

this game is great. im not usally into crafting stuff but i was hooked. the only bad part was that the servers are very empty. its sad when you run through a huugggeee city that looks beautiful and ur the only one there.

Sounds like you went to visit Tazzon (nicknamed Lagzoon). Yes, this largest and only metropolitan looking city is almost never populated at all.

Visiting the smaller racial cities you should find plenty of people almost all the time.

Ive noticed something strange  during my free trial. I do see quit a few people in the smaller towns but heres the strange part  alot of them seem to log on and go afk or something. I was playing yesterday evening for a few hours and saw several people huddled near the binding shrine just standing there not moving, wouldnt respond etc. I finsihed my play time and camped and when I logged back on this evening those same people were still there in the same position as they were the day before. Ive noticed this in several towns.Im wondering if these people are just logging in alt accounts to raise the pop numbers or something and I wouldnt be suprised if it so. The otherday there was a conversation in the new players channel that at that time there were probably 100-150ppl on the server! Its kind of sad that there are so few as Im finding the game to be quit fun and enjoyable.
The first Time i went to Tazoon for the Gifted(knowledge) quest I was awestruck and the place its quite nice and i didnt notice any increase in lag or decrease in FPS. I could imagine that changing though were it filled with people

ROFL Chances are they were in private chat.

The game will kick you out after 30 minutes of no activity.

At a shrine, I'd say odds are good they were in the middle of something and had RL issues come up. I've done that a lot when our daughter needs something and I'm hunting in places where there are no safe spots. Recall, leave yourself standing there while you take care of business.
