hey i remember when this game first came out i really wanted to get it but didnt now i hear its got alota prob like SWG but i still wanna try it...just wanna hear how the game is now and if it worth trying out.?
/agree with Kharlan. Although, I haven't seen any sync problems with fighting.
However, I've heard vets say that there is some differentiation in play, although it's not obvious to most trial subbers like myself. My recommendation is to try the trial and see if you can find some helpful people who like the game for another perspective. For what it's worth, I felt the trial period was fun enough to justify the download. Just remember to close the browser when they ask you for your credit card information.

lol... why to people even bother to post these things. So you did a tutorial and ran around the first section of the city, with no skills at level 2 or 3 or whatever and no idea what the rest of the game entails.
The MxO community is one of the friendliest, more helpful, passionate MMO groupd out there. Get to know them, and they will make your experience a great one. Play for 90 minutes, talk to no-one and you'll get nothing out of it.
Good community but if your not into RP then this isnt the game for you, The live events used to be great now they are just okay, the game is more stable now than ever but i cant really see much aof a future here, so much potential for a game but hardly any of it realised!

yes, the community is great and possibly the best in a mmorpg at the moment, but the overall game (aka: what the developers have produced) is a very basic mmorpg with little content.
This game disappointed when it went live. Back in the beta it showed massive potentional but now its just another one in a sea of mmorpgs on life support.
I am going to try it out again. I just re-activated my Station Access pass, so I will reinstall and give it a go. I remember the great community, but I also remember the repetitive missions and lack of content overall.
With the new combat revamp, I am anxious to see MxO again.
The RP community is horrible. A clique of people who want to talk philosophy about the deep concepts found in a special effects movie.
The interaction Emotes are really good fun so if you find some like minded players you can have a blast.
However the population is very small so the chances of finding like minded players is lower than other games. And the chances of ending up teamed with people you find distasteful is higher.
As with all games I soon found some fun people to knock around with.

I've been doing the trial for a few days now
and to my mind the whole game is a giant time sink
theres nothing of importance to do
all the quests are exactly the same
go somewhere kill/collect object go somewhere else kill/dropoff/collect object
i like the combat moves but half the time the combats out of synch with the npc your fighting
again a good game idea badly implemented
