If you played Baldur's Gate and enjoyed it, you might want to think about getting a copy of Planescape Torment off eBay. Its a more story oriented/role playing game but its story is incredible and personally, its my favorite RPG of all time. Don't think any RPG out there will let you recruit a sarcastic, talkative skull, or a pyromanic wizard who's constantly on fire, into your party.

Thanks for the suggestion chief, I'll check it out!
On the moon, nerds have their pants pulled down and they are spanked with moon rocks!
Well theirs always baulders gate 2 and i hear neverwinter nights is a good game though ive never played it, its supposed to be just like baulders gate. Fallout one and two are someother really good ones, but i enjoyed the first better.
Then theirs Fable, its a good game but alot of people will tell you its a let down. I played it straight through and enjoyed every bit of it.
Also you can try Knights of the old republic they are both good and has a great story which changes depending on your actions.
And just for my own interest what do you think is better Morrowind or Oblivion?
Yeah I have Fable and I love it, and oblivion is pretty much just Morrowind 4, although I do like oblivion more than Morrowind : The elder scrolls. Graphics are a bit TOO good though, have to have a good system to run it.

Basically Oblivion is a good game. But I think it overact with the graphik. Too much HDR for me but it's possible to deactivate it or switch only to bloom.
I advise to take a look at "Gothic". It's a damn good RPG (okee, graphik is a little bit outdatet but hey...u played diablo 2 and baldurs gate ). But I don't know if there an english version of gothic. This game comes from Germany. There are gothic 1, gothic 2 and an addon for gothic 2. Maybe u can take a look at any previews....believe me it's a very cool game
If u like other action-hack'n'slay RPGs like diablo 2 I can advise "Dungeon Siege" (there's a sequel, too). I played the demo of dungeon siege 2 and was very impressed. "Sacred" is another game ...some call it a clone of diablo. It's a game from germany, too.
"Titan Quest" was released a few days ago. Graphik looks really fine (demo is available). But I don't like the interface or rather the graphiks of the menus and inventory.
Planescape Torment was called here, too. It's an old cool RPG with a lot of text! Tons of text to read! But the quests, story and the characters are very genius. And it got a morbid black humor But u need time to play it cos u have a lot to read (for example character actions in dialogs will be described: *he turns around and look for his bag*; and that comes a lot)
And one game that isn't a real RPG is Jagged Alliance (I've played jagged alliance 2). It's a tactical game (like Commandos) but with RPG elements. Your char can got different characteristics and skills. The skills grow by using (alike to Oblivion).
And one of the greates RPG's ever is Fallout 1 and Fallout 2! A post-apocalyptical end time game with his own humor. A must-have for everyone loving RPG's. Interactive world with tons of npc's, multiple dialogs and solution of quests. Google for it or use wikipedia Best RPG with isometric-perspective ever.
I hope I could help you and provide you a small overview
btw sry for possible language mistakes. I'm from Germany
