How old do you have to be to be in these betas? i was so excited i didnt read rules oops

    I'd say 18 or older as most of the beta contests have been for closed betas that one would have to sign an NDA for, and to sign an NDA you have to be 18.

    Depends,
    in most cases a minor (under 18) can have a legal guardian sign the NDA, and assume legal responsabilty for the minor and any actions he might take.

    I have never been given age requirements from companies before.  They always review our rules before we post the contest...our rules are just 13 years old.  But I cannot speak for the game companies themselves...

    i signed up for wish when has just turned 14...

    got in when i was 5 months to 15...

    and the nda thing..i think that sitll applies to me

    so i would say you could sign up...maybe unless you're under 13...

    I think it all depends on which game it is and what the development team decides on.  If they really want to they could scratch everyone who is under 18.  But for the not so popular games, they need every person they can get.  It can never hurt to apply, anyways.

    I am pretty sure the age is 14.  I know WoW just came out with their beta contest...and the Ultima X: Odyssey winners were announced on Jan 15-- I think all 20 of the beta spots have been filled, and the beta itself should be coming out any day now... cannot wait.

    mobettah, its 13+ due to the teen rating of mmorpgs (usually, but toon town is G)
    and thats intereting Murt.... very interesting...
