OMG! I completely forgot about the BoF series. I only played to BoF3 though. I wanna be a dragon! >.< What about the different dragon morphs though? I guess that would require like a lot of regents and things like that cause OMG... Totally evil if you could just morph into the behemit dragon at will. OMG! I'm going to go and play that game now. >.>
I loved the kain series so much. (Though I didn't play the frist only the opening part) I loved everything about it and it makes so much sense to make an MMO out of it. Are we talking about back when Kain was just a starting out vampire or are we including Soulreaper?
I haven't played valkyrie profile, though I've always wanted to. So I can't help you with that one sorry.
I still think .Hack is a good way to go though... Maybe have a shinning force MMO. God I need to be playing these games again. Its like I'm falling in love with them all over again. I don't think I'll be leaving my house for a long time.

Sorry in advance for picking some Xbox games but I dont play many non-mmo games on PC
1. Halo
Halo would be awesome planet-side-like-but-better although you'd have to be marines coz 1,000,000,000 spartans running around aint cool...
2. Fable...ish
With the whole good and evil system a game like fable but a heck of alot better could be potentially awesome.
3. The Dragon Ball Series
Has a good potential but it would have waaaay too many immature idiots so developers of this sorta game would have to make payment methods restricted to credit cards or use other idiot restricting methods.
You can rp mercenairies fighting for different sides. You can go for the money or save villages from dictators. Join the resistance. Be an armsdealer or the one that rents out mercenairies. Or you give out orders to a group of bad mercs to exploit a litle country.
Lot of weapons possibilities. It has a nice skill system. And don't forget the caves, the aliens and the mad scientists :P

unreal tournament 2004 if you perked that up put in a morrowind style skill system and make it a planetside style game except for a clan based free for all holding forts and crap.

Hrmm...not currently a game, but...something about taking someones head and thier quikening right along with it always seemed like it would make a great pvp-mmo, thousands of immortals hunting eachother down to win the prize. So yea probably the Highlander.

I like the game and all, but totally don't see how it could possably be a MMO. >.> They would need to drastically expand the planets and its not like everyone can weild a keyblade in the first place. It would be nice, but I really doubt that something so unique could be put into a MMO.
ON another note, I forgot to say. Phantom Dust! That would be an awesome MMO. At least I think so. Such a fun game with a lot of differeny moves. Personally I think the creaters were very brilliant to just make that game. OMG... So fun.

ut 2004 is a great idea, if u take this in a rpg style oh man! Think about the misssions and the world and the graphic! but i will be an fps mmorpg, and this is not really the best batllestyle

It's just a shame to see Troika Games burnt out like that. Sierra should keep the licence alive and maybe someone should take the torch run to the next level...
Did someone say Mechwarrior? Cause that almost has every element in the game already. Costumizeable mechs different mechs as well. Though if we were going to go for a mech game it can't be like Auto Assult. To me I think it should have massive battles between Clan and IS. I guess it would be a highly PvP game (Since its about that with the actual game.)
