Can Darkfall beat the Number 1 MMORPG?!?!

Well, can it?  I think this game has great potential.  Which makes me think....why is this game only a 6.9?  I've read what it's all about and it seems awesome.  Something I dont WAR or AoC can touch.  What do you think?

    in response to your title, No.

    im a DF fanboi, an im telling you right now it wont see as big a fanbase as most games.  it will be more then enough for us to have fun though, and thats what matters.

    Because it's been in development forever and most have written it off as vaporware.

    No. its a small company, a low budget title. I don't believe low budget titles can be succesfull.

    I vote Hero's Journey, but it's not on your list. Of the games on your list...I guess I would have to pick Tabula Rasa or Age of Conan.

    I love how you put Trials of Ascension up there and not Hero's Journey. Darkfall and ToA...you must be a sucker for vaporware.

    Well we know that AoC and WAR will have pvp of course, but right now pvp is just a selling point for them, a marketing thing. They mention things like "headchopping action" and so on in the same sentence as pvp, and alot of people will buy this.

    But in reality these developers have previously only contributed to the eq-wow-pve-item-grind-clone line of games, so I think we can assume this will still be the main focus of their upcoming games. I don't see many innovations coming from these games to be honest.

    Personally I am never ever again going through the pain of a mmorpg that requires you to work like some idiot hours upon hours every week doing the same thing over and over in order to get equipment, so that you might one day (when you quit your dayjob and grind all day) become competitive. Not even if they paid me 15 dollars per month would i play such a game.

    I vote Hero's Journey as well, I love the GM's who come to this forum helping people who want to know about the game, quick responses. I'm reordering this game when that time comes around.

    I vote for Gods and Heros, though Archlord should be up there, I rather vote for that.
