Do you think this game will better than WoW?

I say WoW because compairing it to better games than WoW is just over-kill(Guild wars, EVE, CoH). But seriously, do people think when they hype this game. The hype system is useful because people can come to site and say "Wow, so these are the games that everyone is looking forward to!"
Is anyone looking forward to Hero? Should they be? I don't really thiink so.

theres a reason why this game is hyped. they either don't want to pay for a game or are just waiting for something to play until the next big game comes along. since it just became summer there are lotta kids that are out of school with nothing to do at home. not everyone wants to p2p a game and the next gen games are also around the corner, but what is there to do now? hero online offers a community game with some content, not along the lines of a big budget game, but still offers content along the lines of guilds, pets, quests, pvp, and mounts. Its free to play and game is also downloaded at no cost, so theres no risk to the user. i think people appreciate this type of format for a game and therefore make them want to play it. by no means can it become a game alongside WOW, but it is an alternative and for a niche market.
This is a free game, and my experiance with most free game is that you get what you pay for.
In WoW you pay a fee every month and gain "24" live support, new items, lot of possibilities etc.
I sure hope they migt make an option for those who want to pay, I wouldn't mind to pay a monthly fee if the quality was raised abit. Like better Char-creation, more items, more skills etc.
So no I don't think it ever reach WoW, EQ or Vanguard due to it none-fee position. But still I think it'll be a great game and can't wait to get started.
And yes, people are looking forward to Hero. I heard closed beta was problematic because of so many users. Don't assume a game is gonna flop because you don't like it.
EVE is a crappy game. You should not be mentioning it at all.
Long story short, just because you don't like it, doesn't make it crap.

the pet system IS good... creative and alot to expect from a popup small game like Hero... i'd give it at least 8+... prolly more... but i respect ur thoughts... not evryone plays wow though, but i do wanna c how good it is... wat disappoints me is that not only is there monthly fee but also there's a retail price
but other than that it LOOKS real good... not evryone may like it though whilst hero is a nice play a little stop game thats original and creative... it is good for long term play though, depending on how much time you're willing to give up on it.

hero may become the best free mmo... and like before its in a better of the rare original and different and entertaining genre of mythical samorai martial arts style, which i highly approve of... whoever whenever whereever should try this and they'll like it at least a little... depends the kinda gamer they are...
i really like that idea for in game appearance changers never knew bout it just found out...

This game already is botter heaven. It's so absurdly simple I found myself asking "Why am I playing this" after 20 minutes. The zones are small, over-populated, and rather non-descript, there's no scenery - just the next place to grind at.
Once you have your Massive AE routine down - repeat it - a thousand times. Congratulations, you've levelled up. That's about the extent of this game. The pets are nice - when they work properly... but don't even come close to making up for the 95% of this game that's just boring.
Diablo 1 kept me much more entertained for much longer ... oh well.
The professions really don't mean a whole lot. You'll probably never group, except for taming, and even if you do - it's just mass AEing.
I despise WoW, I really do, I played it for a month, hit 60, and now I use the CD as a coaster, and the game manual to keep my desk from wobbling. Thats literally the best use I could find for WoW.
That being said, Hero Online is still worse than WoW, had I actually paid for Hero Online, I think I would have been better off stuffing the bills into a large water bong and smoking them directly.
HO is incredibly repetitive, massive amounts of grinding, there are very few customization options, very few classes, very few skills for those classes, the community is terrible (mostly kids), the quests are mundane, you only get 4 people to choose from at the start, kill stealing is rampant, the pvp is nothing more than potion spamming gang bangs, the world is small, the GMs overplay the events, (playing hide and seek with GM's is about the lamest and possibly worst attempt at an event ive ever witnessed), the global channel is just jam packed with immature rants, and this is just the main problems. I wont go into any actual detail as to why this sucks on more sublime levels, but after playing multiple characters from 30 to 40 in both closed and open beta, I really hope this game bombs, if for nothing else but to send a signal to companies that MMO's need to move forward when this vehicle is obviously in reverse.
I thought the pet system was gonna be great until I realized its just more grinding to get your pet up to speed. What can I say, nother lame Korean mmo......
I hate this game too and all Korean grindfests such as Maple Story, Silk Road Online, RAN Online, Mu Online, etc.
Korean games should be eradicated here in America. The people who like them here should be given pass-codes so they can play with themselves and the Korean "people" who enjoy GRINDING THE SH*T OUT OF THEIR ASSES ALL DAY.
But hating the Korean "people"? That's just uncalled for.
