pvp class

Hi i just started playing and i was wondering if warlord is a good pvp/siege class.  I came over from many games that all focused mainly on pve so i wanted to focus on pvp.  If warlord does not specificaly excel at pvp or less likely to get invited into high end pvp clans, what are some classes that do i could care less race but would highly prefer that it be a fighter type class that is front line melee.

    You probably won't get to may replies.

    L2 is not built on "uber builds" or anything. Its built on playstyles. Most classes are fairly well balanced, they do however have very extream roles.

    Basically pick what suits your playstyle. Don't worry about what other people may want or think. Thats why L2 has such a rich and full class / race based system.

    (unlike say...WoW, no point in customization in that game, ever notice all the Night Elf rogues with some variation of the name Legolas? lol, pathetic)

    a Warlord is very good you often get invited in pvp groups if your high enof lvl :P, they Aoe damgede and nice Aoe stun sadly makes em 1 off the first targets, so you often be brought down quick if your not playing right..

    but every class gets invited into pvp since the more player´s you have on your side the higher chance you have off winning...

    they´s never gonna be any fair 9 vs 9 figths aginst clan´s, i havent heard off it yet, only the NCsoft competitions event, since the exp losses still suck when you die in pvp and that often´s; or for many builds hate towards the other clan..    and will do whatever they can to give you high % losses brining in untagged player´s since a clanwar % lost is 1/4 off normal lost and when an untagged guy kills you :(

    Warlords are great in close battles like choke points for sieges or dungeons. However, most pvp is open field where a warlord is going to suck hardcore. If you want a good pvp character I would suggest an archer or mage.

    And if you choose for a archer or mage, choose HE or Sorcerer :P
