I would do a joke about it ...but...well...there's no need.

I bet there will be another one on less than a week.

Best thing is ...rollback to August of 2004 and let the devs you hired in replace of Pouriex and the  other ones ends their Structured Programming 101 before making them a contract.

I thank Farlan for all the laughs.
I will miss those laughs when the game is dead in 3 months.

    RMAO ....!

Can we recoup the chronology of Dark & Light release and it's patches and rollbacks. It time we start documenting this in order... starting from the 30 day delay and into the 3 day delay just before release....

It's too bad, really. Even though some of these people didn't listen to others warning them, they still purchased this game in good faith. How many more lives does this thing have left? Maybe they should have done a real beta test. Instead they decided to test it internally with the dev team. These guys aren't going to find bugs. I don't think they really have the skill or knowledge to do anything with games. I really hope people give up on these guys soon. I'd rather see this company fade away than still being able to take more money from people. They are crooks.

Anyone who still wants to say this game has potential, is dreaming. Stop supporting these monkeys. They don't deserve anyone's money.

Gamers need to stop getting excited about upcoming games to the point where their enthusiasm overrides their common sense. We have all these wannabe developers looking for the money hats who make pie-in-the-sky promises that they can't possibly deliver.

It's one thing if the developer in question has a proven track record: SOE, Blizzard, NcSoft etc. The games they make might not be your taste, but you can be reasonably assured that there is actually a functional game there.

But with unknowns, wait to play in the beta (and don't pay for it for Pete's sake), wait for the reviews, or wait for the free trial. You can't blame most of the people who get snookered with crapware, they just don't know any better. For many, D&L will be their first (and maybe last) MMORPG. They think it's like a single player game: they look at the feature list, hear the reassurances from the devs and fanbois, and think they are getting what they paid for. It's only after they've parted with their money that the truth sets in.

Are Farlan scammers? Well, they released an incomplete game, a game that had no business launching. They are at the very least unethical. And it's a shame, but by purchasing the product before it's ready the consumers enable the type of mindset that incomplete games are acceptable.

Shame on Farlan, and shame on the shills who hyped this abomination.

It'll be hilarious if they rollback again and STILL the bug isn't fixed.

Just think about it this way.
The very 1st time they did a rollback was to fix the weapon exploit bug.
After they did the rollback the weapon exploit bug was gone right?!

    Oh, wait a minute, nevermind.

I was just reading the boards, some posters are reporting the "weight" bug is still there.

I guess Farlan is too poor/greedy to hire 100 monkeys to fix all the bugs and to fill D&L world with content. Cmon mr Farlan, monkeys are realy cheap these days. Sometimes all you gotta pay them is a banana an hour.

I am the type of player where I like to do everything and anything from time to time.

Then again, some people are into scat... perhaps this is why DnL still exists..?
