World of Warcraft movie? (Or just warcraft movie)

I got to say... Ummmm what are we to expect from this? People getting all upset at arthis and going to try to kill him? Because anyone who had any real pull on the story in WoW can be considered dead here. Ony, Blackwing, Cthun, Though you just kill rag's corporial forum I'll count him, Hakkar, and let us not forget Kel'thuzod. What would be the premis of this movie? I'd really like to know this. Oh, maybe Illidan will make an apperance.

I might be cynical here, but its only cause I don't know.

I have heard that they are canceling the production of this, or they have stopped cause they are having second thoughts about it. To me i think the idea of a warcraft movie is stupid, I like playing WoW and the stratagy games but Warcraft is not ment to be a movie. Thats why they are having second thoughts or already have canceled it because everyone is complaining about how dumb its going to be.

Well yeah, exactly... I mean what could they do besides go kill arthis? Oops, there goes any hope of killing him in the game.

I could see the diolog now... It'll go something like this. "Hey lets kill onyxia... No steve killed her last week."
"What about Her brother?"
"Naw, poblo is doing that right now."
"Lets kill deathwing! YEah the deathaspect!"
"Yeah, first lests find him and second how the hell can we kill the death aspect?"

There best bet would be to make the movie based on Warcraft or even do a trilogy let's say Warcraft 1-3 Lord of the Rings style and just slap the WoW name on it that way it doesn't ruin anything.

Most likely on the whole Warcraft series. I havn't heard anything on them pulling the plug so I don't know but if they are going to do it I wish they'd do it in CG like thier cutscenes.

From what I hear... Its meant to be run by a complete A list cast and crew. So I highly doubt there will be any pure CG sets in the movie.

wow lore sucks hard... who cares about ony and stuff! blizzard stuffed up wow man! they shoulda stuck to the main characters and junk not make up a bunch of new junk

Exactly, but I mean apperently Ony was very prevolent in some of the past warcraft. (Same with a lot of bosses it seems.)

Thats one reason why I think Warcraft should of stayed a RTS. That way we can get a story and not have a F'ed up lore because of a MMO were if one person kills this doesn't mean it doesn't exist for another and such as that.

It would be kinda cool that if they advancd the lore like took Ony and MC out of the game and gave you other means of getting that gear because they were finally defeated.

Lol, just like how they "added to/modified" the lore to be able to incorporate drainei in the Burning Crusade?
