Gamble Boxes and GM Quiz

in Hero Online
i was playing and randomly got a gm quiz. it was a simple question: whats 3 + 4 = ?. i answered it quickly and got it right. I recieved a gambling box and spent 100 opened it for another box which was 5000 to open which i recieved another box that cost 405000 to open.  i don't have the much money right now and am curious what kind of stuff have people receieved from these gamble boxes?

    I spent 100 on a gamble box and got pet food that sold for like... 5000. So yeah, sometimes they give some good stuff.

    The gamble box is so sweeet. its basically giving us alot of money i think. If you get it, I think its worth to gamble and spend the money because it will give you better items that are worth alot. but then again, you can sell the gamble box and get a good amount of money from it, its all whatever you want to do.

    there WAS this one time when I used a box that cost 15,000 and it gave me 10,000. that was pretty counterproductive... but yeah, use them at your own discretion.

    That's why they're called Gamble boxes :P  You take a gamble opening them.  About 3/5 of the times though I get something good, so...I'll keep on opening them.

    ya its gambling and its fun to see what u can get. ive gotten various items from food, new gamble boxes, money, and some potions.

    Happens to me a lot, but mostly I get incense - 15,000 to open the box, for a single useless item that sells for 1,000.   I've made good money on the little 100g fortune boxes from the GM quiz, but on the 15,000g gamble boxes, usually found as loot, I've only lost money.

    When I want a single-player story, I'll play a single-player game. When I play an MMO, I want a massively multiplayer world.

    lol gambling is fun, but ive hit rock bottom at a point then get lucky and come back. i think i have a gambling problem....

    the gamble box is a good feature, but only sometimes i get worthwhile items. The GM quiz is a good anti-bot feature, but it's a distraction while botting. I got 1+1 the other day...

    Lol, yeah, it's a bit absurd. But hey, you get items from them.

    The gambling boxes, on the other hand, I barely bother with... I think I opened up the glowing chests only once... I usually just sell 'em all.

    But then again, I hear about people getting Gold/Silver bars and selling them for like... a couple million... So who knows?

    if I remember correctly, I got my silver bar from a 5 colour fortune case, but the glowing ones are usually where you get high level weapons, and stuff like that.

    But as you said, i also don't bother with the glowing boxes. I open the 5 colour ones, but i sell the glowing ones for a quick buck. I've only opened one of them once and i got a level 43 sword which is totally useless to me.

    WellThere all a GAMBLE = u can make money or loose money :) just liek the real thing heheh

    Well there are different types of gambling boxes

    100 gold ones

    15,000 gold ones

    and 162,000 - 990,000 gold ones

    From the 100 ( GM Quizes )  gold ones u usealy get - 1 Grand Gingsing ( full hp/chi) , 1 dead incense ( revives pet or mount ) or gems ,petfood, pills, ( small things )

     From the other 100 ones ( fomr the lot game ) u most likley get gems

    Eather one of those can give u gold/silver bars which sell for ALOT at the NPC i think silver is 5 mill and gold is 10 mill. ( Dont get scammed by a player )

    Form the Golwing/burning chest u can get a varity of things 9 weps/ armor/ accesories/special items ) but you can still get the low grade itmes.

    i dont see any loop where you can always get good stuff its all random I have received things worth 15 mill form 1 box and things worth 100 gold from another so if u have the $$ and feel lucky go for it.

    I do know friends that have received things ( special items ) that sell for upwards of 100mill + and sold them right away so.... its all up to you.

    I ALWAYS open the green ( 162k ) ones :)

    Oh man... Yeah, I'm hardly ever that lucky. Always get like... ginseng, or cases of tea.

    I hate it when I pay 15,000 on a case and get 10,000 back. Garrr, it tickles me angry bones.

    Wow.  Lots of action on these forums.  The official forums and the fansite must still be down.  

    Yeah, I like the Gamble boxes but the silly GM quizzes always seem to happen only when I've got 5 things beating on me, or when my niece is playing with my "Doggy"  - poor kid, she's been sent back to the Castle twice already.

    Yeah... those quizzes tend to come at the most inconvenient of times. And sometimes, I don't click in the box properly, so I accidentally set off some skill or AOE attack when I type in the answer.

    But hey. It'll improve finger dexterity, right? ^_^

    2. I guess u have a chance at somethignfor free AND I LOVE FREE STUFF NO MATTER WHAT IT IS LMAO

    + u cant tell me it takes you longer than 1/2 of a sec to answer it :)

    GM quizes are just ways for them to reward players who arnt using a third party system. And the gambling aspect in the game is new to alot of mmorpg games. I dont know of ne other games that have a gambling factor into the game. It makes the game alot of fun, if you already havent noticed, the quests have the "gambling" factor later on in the higher lvls.

    Yea, the official website's forums are down, and yet some members are still posting there. It's strange that I can't, it must be my location.

    Anyway, the GM's give you like 3 minutes to answer math that doesn't beyond 10 +7 or something, so you can leave it an d mob for another 2 minutes without losing any sleep lol.
