    The graphics are...passable. Which is fine. But revolutionary? ummmm no way in hell.

    As far as gameplay goes, we shall see if and when this game is ever released. The last gameplay move I saw for this game made me laugh and instantly dismiss Darkfall as a game worth my time. But like I said...we'll see.

    Yeah, probabaly not revolutionary, but I'd say you can cross it off the list of 'things to penalize Darkfall over'

    Just face it though, no one's going to give it benefit of the doubt until it's released. You just pick a side and then dismiss everyone elses, that's how the waiting game works.

    go troll some other forum. AoC has nothing, besides graphics, when compared to Darkfall.

    I have been waiting for Darkfall for YEARS. I think it started development in 2001 or something crazy like that. I'm glad the latest batch of screenshots have looked much better then their original ones. It looks like they are still working on the graphics (which unfortunately is what most people care about).

    Although the developers are taking their sweet ass time, I still love the concept of the game and crave the type of gameplay I used to have in Ultima Online.

    IMHO: Character graphics are still looking ugly and outdated - they are sculpted with axe.  Otherwise, environment seem to be passable. It is bit shame, because otherwise Darkfall sounds intresting. I will wait and see.

    I see what alot of people are calling poor graphics as the art style of Henning. He didnt draw the models to look like the Dark Efl porno queen in L2 or anime characters. They reflect a differnt type of look and feel. Its too bad people cant seperate the two concepts.

    I think hs art kicks the crap out of Blizzards.

    This game is going to be so kewl and it does my heart good to see posts like that from their developers. Also nice to see so many people who can't wait for this game like me.

    this game is gonna rock, graphics are about a 7 out of 10, maybe a 6. but world of warcraft is like a 4...


    this game will be revolutionary in its game play. age of conan will be almost as good in my opinion. But in my opinion this game is a level 10 hype, and everyone else would think so too if a concrete release date was announced. w/e, ill wait probably. as long as it comes out 4Q 06 or 1Q 07.... If not, AoC and War look alright.

    Remy is right about the graphics...but this game is Almost everything im going to want (I hope) ... its graphics are Passable...i hope there lots of Blood and Gore unlike other games because i like it alot better with all that good stuff... and the PvP in this game is gonna be Revolutionary lol...because the game is based on it

    i play the boring PvE game of World of Warcraft.

    sucks...

    but im not shrugging off Darkfall..this game is gonna be a game ill stay in ALONG TIME

    I couldn't view that video.  What codec would I need to install in my windows media player?  Anyone else have a codec error?

    First i like a good open pvp system thats coregameplay then grafics but not realy importend for me gamplay first.

    You rmost likely need to download the  DivX codec .

    its not worth watching, its like 5 seconds long.  just goes to show that the screenies werent modified, like some people thought/accused.

    that is what darkfall is gonna be like, did you read the post?  none of the screens or footage is edited in any way.

    It's not the graphics that I don't like. It's the character models and armor models...
