Transformers MMO?

Wouldnt a mmo based on the Transformers be cool. Certainly would be different. Would make up for some great pvp action as well. As well it wouldnt involve elves and fairy's. So what you think?

nope, its not. RFO has one race, the bellato which has one class that can drive in mechs. they also have a cyborg race, but they aren't really mechs heh.

Yes. Further words fail me. Provided the following:
1) We are referring here to Transformers, not the CG/anime mockeries that have sprung up in this benighted and accursed generation. A desecration for which a nameless faceless group of marketers, animators, and producers will be cast into the deepest pits of hell for an eternity of suffering. Etc.
2) Actually I think that was my only precondition.
Seriously if someone tried to spring some kind of minicons or beast wars on me I may have to resort to violence. Robots in disguise are more than welcome to do battle for glowing cubes of energon, however. Furthermore, Soundwave must turn into a tape-player or lives are forfeit.
What amazes me is that some people here apparently don't recognize Transformers..? What the..?
Anyway, that'd be a really complex project if you wanted to provide any customization. Though it might not be beyond reach now.
creation, needs help with mid-game stuff and other things after combat
(I guess they never heard of Reed Richards or Clark Kent). As for what
kind of game, they'd pull from everywhere, Beast Wars, Armada, G1/2
and even the movies. Trying to pull from one source would make the game more like AO.

You see people some people actually learn from others mistakes, and I'm sure people understand exactly what happened to COH/COH that makes/made it a Failure with alot of MMORPG fans. And im sure those same people that sat by and watched COH make thier mistakes will not do the same thing.
If a good company gets behind the game I think it would be a mega hit. Personally I think it all depends on how the Transformer movie does next year. If its a hit then I do believe we will see a Transformer MMORPG.

COH/COV isn't a failure! It's doing great considering WOW is huge! Look at the bigger picture, there are tons of MMOs out now, all are trying to get people to play. Throwing one more in the mix will not make it successful, especally with transformer fans. Basically I can't say it will fail or not, there really isn't a MECH MMO out there. I'd wait for the one from NCSoft and see what Microsoft is doing with the Mechwarror license before putting my money anywhere.
COH/COV just needs to add non-combat stuff like crafting and creating items and temperary powers. When they figure that out it will keep users longer and subed longer as well.
