Well I know they are adding two new races basically giveing the horde Night elfs and the alliance tauren it seems like to me.
What good is new races if there is just the same old classes so I would like to know if there is any word of WoW adding new classes or anything in a patch or something please let me know if there is.

Somewhere they said that balancing the 8 classes were hard enough.
at somepoint we should expect some variant of what we hoped for hero classes in the comming years... but i wouldnt hold my breath.
They can't even be bothered to make Tier sets on a per talent tree basis, they certainly aren't going to add new classes.
How can you seriously believe Blizzard will add a new class when they refuse to even properly support the various talent specs of the current classes?
Erm tons and tons.
Some major classes that can be added - bard, shadowknight,a true mezzer aka illusionist, necromancer.
Thing is until they have a massive drop in subs ,blizzard will not make the effort to add variety to the game sadly.

None of those which are actually in warcraft lore...except possibly the necromancer. Blizzard stated they are working on making the classes more different from the 60 to 70 spells currently and with all of the current talent reviews. They did state as a post pointed out above that they haven't completely balanced what they have now, so why add more? This is a smart move on there behalf. I'm sure there will be some new classes down the line, just not anytime soon. Btw, if you want bards...illusionists, etc, go play Everquest II.
if the classes were rock/paper/scissors wat would happen if u put hammer into the picture? it would stuff things up a lot..
the classes in wow arnt balances as it is, warlokcs, priests, paladins are very over powered classes. They need to make every class be even or at least have some sort of triangular pvp system happening (rock/paper/siccors)
if they add 50 new races to the game class to the game it wont change a thing.. if they add one new class the game will change all together
Blizzard is known for taking their sweet time in releaseing any new content to any game they ever develop.
Also the ShadowKnight is like a dark paladin.
True if they release a new class it would upset the current state of balence that the game has. DAoC spent all their time implimenting new classees and ingored the old ones therefor they are now forced to go back and re work the old ones to make them a viable classes again.
But, if blizzard would introduce new classes it would have to be a necromancer forthe horde and the mortar teams for the alliance.
Don't expect to see Necromancers or Death Knights as classes unless Blizzard implements the Scourge as a third player faction. From what I have seen they solely intend the scourge as an NPC faction (probably the next expansion) so I wouldn't hold your breath for either of those classes.
I think a death knight would be a good addition, not shadowknight...Death knight is an actual Hero class in warcraft 3. Spellbreaker would also be a great addition for blood elves. Necromancers, though interesting...would probably be overshadowed by warlocks UNLESS they were handled in a totally different way. We dont need two pet classes with little differences, like hunter and warlock for example. They are handled in totally different ways. IMO, necromancer would best be handled like this.
1. Pets have a summon time.
2. Multiple pets, of course.
3. The use of corpses to make pets.
Other then this...though, how would a necro differ from a warlock? Damage over time spells would just be a rip off of warlock...So, I was thinking buffs maybe? Or, perhaps Pure Debuff talent option?
I think the talents could be, Pets, buffs, and Debuffs (not damage over times mind you, just stat lowering spells)
As far as how death knights could be handled, I'm not totally sure. Probably just opposite of paladin, instead of healing spells you get damage spells, or life draining spells. Instead of sheild, you debuff your opponent massively. Or, you could just design it this way, Make it like a warrior, but with spells. A high level spell could be animate dead? Tons of options ppl.
Dont quite know how spellbreakers would be handled, but I think its a good idea.
Only thing is though, I think deathknight would be a horde only class, and necro too...Idk, maybe you all can think of stuff for alliance. Prolly better just not to include necro tho.... But hey, just some ideas. Well, i gotta go...gf on phone, later.
New races are nice and all, but if Blizz wants to keep WoW going they MUST add more classes. Doesn't matter if you have 100 races there are only so many ways to play a warrior.
There are many classes that could be added that would fit in the WoW lore. Then again, Blood Elves going Horde makes no sense lore-wise. They seem to be making up stuff as they go along and doing whatever they want. Think, in patch 1.11 there is a mage talent to gain Armor? Like an xtra 150-200 armor would really help a cloth wearer at all?
Blizz underestimated how hard it would be to manage an MMOG. It is very different from Diablo or 'Craft games. Taking their sweet time releasing an expansion is fine for a single player game, but need to pick up the pace for a MMOG. Subscribers can and will get bored quickly.
As for class suggestions, pet class using elementals, a pugilist (fist wpn melee), spellbreaker (alliance), etc...
Erm tons and tons.

LOL!!
As if Blizzard would take lore into consideration when implementing something
But, yeah they really missed the boat on not making a hero class for after 60. Burning Crusade will just be more of the same, methinks
