POLL: What Race/Class are you going to play?

in World of Warcraft

Was just wondering how many of each class and each race to expect to see in game.

Personaly I plan to play a Night Elf hunter. I'd like not to be a Night Elf simply because I feel they're going to be way over played in the initial release of WoW. Yet I do want to be in the alliance, and the Hunter class is one of the main reasons I'm interested in WoW (I love how they set up the pet system).

So my choices as of present would be either a Dwarf or a Night Elf, and I don't like playing dwarven characters as much as I love being grouped with them. They're funny cause theyr'e short image

    I'll be going with the Night Elf on my main character...just because in every game I am an elf image

    Well you can't go wrong with dwarves, and wouldn't their lawful nature help them along the path of knighthood? A paladin dwarf may be a wee bit eccentric, but I would think it would make for some fun play.

    Hmmm im not quite sure....Undead seems cool though ....warriors looks awesome too....so probably somewhere around there....we'll see....you never really know until you experience it first hand....

    I can see there being problems with the undead in that they are inherently more powerful than a living race. They will have no need to eat, drink, or sleep, and would be immune to such things as critical hits and death spells. But hopefully they'll have significant downfalls also to keep the game fair and balanced.

    I found a thread similiar to this on the b-net forums. Seems like the most popular race-class combo is going to be Night Elf Hunters.

     

    Just hope they all get bored of the class, or find it really hard to level a ranged rogue class and give up with it. Always see a lot of low level archers in mmorpg's, but at the level cap you see so very few... wonder why that is. image
