I play so many, but I usually try to concentrate on only one. That one would be Everquest II.
It is my favorite because it has the best player community on my server that I have ever seen, the best roleplaying I ever experienced, and has so much content. I like the grouping aspect in the game, and I am always amazed at how great the game looks on my system. It runs very well, too. I've been playing since it was released and I am still very happy with it, although I do play less often, I will most likely keep playing for some time to come.
AO. Simply one of the most unlikely complex MMOs you will find. You can play it simply, but once you start with the more complex features, the game is simply amazing.
I flipped back and forth between EQ2 and WoW for a couple months, but I'm back in EQ2 to stay I think. I'm having a blast again, mostly due to getting back into an awesome guild and having many old friends come back as well.

I was playing Auto Assault, but I took a break to play Oblivion offline (no sense paying for a subscription when I really only have time to play one game). I was going to go back to Auto Assault when I finished with Oblivion, but their decision to merge servers only affects me negatively (I'm not much for grouping or pvp), so I'll probably just look for something else when I get to that point.
Got stuck in it back when it was new and well.. not done is the first word that comes to mind. Greatest (and only at the time) MMO Shooter.
I have never seen a game where the developers are so active at the forums as here, also they manage to crank out new patches within regular intervalls so big that other gamedevelopers would have sold them as expansion packs.
It's the only game I can think of that has such incredible detailed damagemodels that you can look at real penetration charts and see if a weapon in game can penetrate an armoured target.

I'm playing Saga of Ryzom. Also Horizons: Empire of Istaria, but I haven't been able to play that in the past week or so because of computer issues.
