WoW wont allow yahoo or hotmail email addresses.  Where else can i get an email account acceptable by them? I cant use aol becaus ei dotn ahve aol. i use adelphia for my cable modem service but could i get a free email from them? Thanks for the help.

    They should have given you an email when you signed up to thier service. I know Road Runner gave me acouple.

    You can go to http://www.mail.com and sign up for a free email account their.

    damn I accidentally put in a hotmail address without reading the fine print... there goes my chance of seeing a beta.

    Ouch...I bet alot of peeps got so excited about the beta that they didn't read the fine print..I wouldn't be suprised if alot of people used a hotmail/yahoo email account

    thanks jlover. mail.com is easy and quick to sign up for. There are a few promotions, but that can be expected for free service. Only takes about 3 mins to run through depending on your connection speed.

    I dont wanna throw a brink into the machinery or anything....but I was under the impression that Wow Beta would not take any free email systems...rather the one you receive from your ISP.

    I thought hotmail and yahoo was just two examples

    When they say "valid e-mail address" they are talking about your actual ISP e-mail address.

    Just to let everyone know, they wiped the database free of anyone who used a hotmail/yahoo emai lto sign up the first day and put a error code if you do it again. So people can resign up if they used hotmail/yahoo.
