And if so, what is your name there?

Just curious if anyone here actually takes the time to read the very in-depth material on the forums - and constant dev responses, or is the MMORPG.com community pretty seclusive?

    I visit every day.  Same name as here.

    I don't post as much there, because it's more fast paced,  many are able to keep tabs on it almost constantly, and I am unable to.  This forum is easier to keep track of for me, since I have fewer opportunities to read it through the day.

    I visit and post both places (same name as well).

    I don't post a ton at the AoC forums, only when I see something where I can contribute or something that interests me. IMHO, there are lots of posting 'whores' there, that only post in order to increase their post-count.

    Overall though, the AoC forums/community is about the best and most mature of any MMO that I follow.

    I have honestly never had much interest for the game so never looked at the forums but once I think. For me its alittle to late for another fantasy game to be releasing even if it is based on a book series I am a very big fan of.

    However closer to release I may start eying it more. One never knows...

    I visit it once a week. I don't post as much as I read simply because many of the posts are speculation... and I'm not really into that.

    I'm a long-time lurker of the AoC boards, as well as Vanguard, Silky Venom, (Vanguard site) but I seldom post, since in most cases the dev's of games are very secretive, and there's mostly just alot of idle speculation, or suggestions that won't be implemented. I chck out various forums for information about the games, not to engage in speculation. But alot of people like to do just that, and that's fine.

    I use the same name and sig at all forums when I seldom do post anything tho. It's all about your cred, over time.

    I spend quite a bit of time on the AoC forums when I'm at work. :) I usually lurk, for the same reasons as Niksa: there is a lot of speculation going on, and some of the posts are, frankly, retarded. Like posts calling for nerfs to certain classes..?

    Also, there ARE some blatant post whores there, some more subtle than others ("This game looks great!").

    When I post, I post with the same name as I do here: Hexaphim.

    The game is based on the books, not the lame ass Governator movies. Any royalties go to R. Howards estate.

    ahh well looky what I found. Bumping this thread up out of curiosity and also to add my own little piece. Nice to see a lot of you enjoying the official forums. Nothing wrong at all with sitting back and watching the discussions flow. No need to post if you don't feel like it. Normally I am the same way.

    I do post though on the official forums. My username over there is Inertia and I've joined an Australian time-zone based (GMT+10) guild called Primal Fury. Check it out on the guild section of the offical forums or http://conan.primalfury.org/ if interested. I'm not much of a forum poster so no idea how to clicky it so get those copy/paste skills ready.

    Sorry, didn't intend the post as a guild promotion. I've a big interest in this game and I love speculation. I visit the forum daily and most of my posts are intended to add discussion such as an agreement or disagreement just to keep it flowing.

    I try to stay away from the actual game forums until the game has been released. Don't ask me why. Just some straange taboo I have.

    Played Wow, D and L, AOC, GW, Eve, Rift and many more insignificant games.

    I post on there and read them a lot.  Its a very good forum.  I post as hurin.  That's right it a Tolkein character on an AoC board, but he was one bad mofo.  I'm just talkin bout Hurin.

    You try being trapped under a mountain of orcs and trolls you killed yoruself and see how it turns out.  Well then again it didn't turn out to well for him since he was forced to watch his whole family die and commit incest by Morgoth...
