I have never listened to those idiots. The game is dying, cities are barren, professions broken, crafting gone, devs constantly lying, etc and they act like things are always improving.

After 3 years, they should be demanding all players cancel their accounts and Smedley getting fired.

You know what guys, I was really expecting more from you both. These guys like, and dislike the game, and if you had listened to their show you'ld know that. Do I agree with them 99% of the time, no, but that dosn't make their whole show a waste.

FYI-

30 minutes + was talking about the debacle of Restuss, include clear opinions & conclusions, some even making it clear the Dev's don't have any dirrection, are dishonest & have wasted their time/efforts
15 minutes of discussing thier opinions of the Expertise System
10 minutes discussing the EMU, including an interview with an EMU representative, that actually was positive for those who want Pre-CU play (including providing address' & promising regular followups

I could understand if you had listened to it in the past and writen it off, but when you just dismiss it when someone you KNOW isn't a Fanboi (ME ) suggests it was enjoyable, you could at least refrain from calling it Fanboi Fare without listening to it...

I like listening to TGR.... The only issues I have ever had with it was when the senator decided to call players deuschebags... TGR took a hit right after the SWG summits when they requested some pr stuff from SOE / LA. The compaines sent them a bunch of crap for give aways and changed their names on the forums to add the title The Galaxy Report. I think that was when people began the opinions about what TGR stood for... But yeah this episode is good.

FYI...I only asked for a shirt to give out on the show. LA hooked me up with the box of gear. I also stated in e-mails to the LA reps that I would be willing to give things away on the show as long as they did not expect me to limit what was said about the game. As for the fancy titles on the o-boards, that was as big of a suprise to me as it was to anybody else. In fact I believe Solen is the one who was behind that before he "flead" to the EMU :P

As for the douchebag comments. Listen, all boards have people like that on them. If you saw the PM's he was receiving before he made those comments you might understand. Here he is trying to collect information to give to the dev's from the player base and no matter what side he takes he was receiving PM's cursing him out. My favorite line of his was on our boards when he said "I wish this was the FIRST time someone threatened to kill me in a boxing ring". But we are done with that and there will be no such comments like that in the future.

Anyways, thanks to those of you who give us a try. If you ever disagree with what we say shoot us an e-mail or feel free to call in during the show.

PS....We are not guiilty of being SOE fanboi's. Star Wars fanbois maybe!!

I don't know what MP3 you downloaded. If you're going to waste time on video games, waste it on a fun game that you don't spend the majority of the time hating. Because that's what the people you're giving $15/month are doing. You're supporting them and enriching their life in exchange for that mediocre piece or crap you log into every day and complain about.

You were! That's all you guys did. First you complained about restuss, then I hear you guys talking to the EMU guys. I'm not mocking you for complaining. But I am glad Restuss was a total failure as I expected nothing less from an incompetent company.

I feel sorry for you guys. You held on to hope far too long. You helped prop up an evil immoral company that could care less about your passion for all things Star Wars. Thanks to you guys, the game is still breathing although barely. SOE spit in your faces and constantly lied and yet you continued to support them

Were you at Restuss on Bloodfin? It was a mess. How else could we describe it? They are the ones that hyped up the event, said lag would not be an issue and then it was completly unplayable and the server crashed. That is definitly worthy of a gripe.

We are also not an offical SOE product so their no EMU stance does not pertain to us. I do not mention it on the offical boards. All I did was take a call and it happened to be a member of the EMU team so I talked to them.

Crap, guys I am giving you KUDOS for finally growing a pair and telling it more like it is then having your noses up thier ass.

I wanted to just wack you guys with the reality stick at the Indy Summit myself. I saw you guys sitting over at the tabe talking smack with Grant. When it was over... and thought, they need to have a real interview with a NON-Fanboi vs some of the others you have spoke to.

But it is finally good to see you guys come around and see some things for what they are not what they seemed to be.

You guys do know that they will be dicks now to your team I'm sure. Just like Alakazam saw the light and bailed by selling, -- SOE does not like anything posted or said that does not ensure some positive reflection of thier product at this point. The problem is that people are running out of ideas to make up.

For some of us this is just another rung in out list of broken, dissapointing issues to add up. I have not even played the game in months and this just adds to the pile of crap they call the NGE. I just hope that more people see how this went down, see it for what it is and just call it as they see it. The Devs need to keep lying, messing up for this to all work out I think. Once at the bottom you can only go up... not to mention KARMA is a great help here. I just hope it's in my freaking lifetime.

My old lady had to work late last night so my pair wasn't stuck in her purse.

I would love to have you call in sometime if you want to give a "NON-Fanboi" opinion. All we can do is give our thoughts on the game. Some people will agree, some will disagree. I can still have fun in the game and I like some of the things they would like to implement so I keep playing.

Really I am not worried about the Dev's reaciton. Grant was a cool guy and after the summit he asked us a lot of quesitons on things we didn't like or what we would change if we could. Hopefully they look at it as "wow if these guys are pissed we really messed up". I still chalk all this up to a power struggle between LA and SOE and I have a feeling the dev's get caught in the middle.

I hve nothing against people who want to play the EMU or Pre-CU. I've said on the show if SOE offered a classic server I would roll a toon on it. The issue I have is when legit threads on the O-boards are overrun with Pre-CU FTW/Rollback post that do nothing to help the person asking the question. Let's face it, there are plenty of places to talk about Pre-CU and the O-boards are really not it.
