Scientology - the truth?

well i was just visiting ytmnd after remembering how they attacked ebaums world (funny stuff) and came across this, to me it looks old becouse it even has a sequel to it so many have probably already seen it but its still really good and may change your mind about scientology becouse it sure did change my mind. Scary in some ways.

    I don't understand how people can get suckered into this crap. There are lots of crazy cults out there. Maybe the Scientologists will pull a Jim Jones and commit mass suicide.

    Yea but did you see the sources at the end? didt try any of them out but will soon, and the sequal is what really made me believe the first one.

    Truely disturbing - But you don't need to watch that to know that scientology is a scam. L. Ron Hubbard was practically a self-admitted scam artist, and most definitely a nutcase.

    I'm by no means arguing that info is wrong, just saying google video is full of more reliable stuff like court cases, interviews with past members, and testimony from L ron hubbards own son backing up the fact it's a bad institution.
    not some slide show created for your the man now dog.com.
    i'm sure you can see and hear all the sources it talks about and more first hand on what google video provides.
    but without the cool looped music.

    Seriously, there is a wealth of information on google video about the evil ways of scientology.

    Wow, I knew scientology was a scam, but really didn't know how screwed up it was. The idea that someone can fallow it... Blows the mind... I mean in all honesty thats more then a little bit psychotic.

    Don't be terrorized! You're more likely to die of a car accident, drowning, fire, or murder! More people die every year from prescription drugs than terrorism LOL!

    Sadly enough yeah that's all true. I didn't think that site did anything more then have cheesy clips for laughs.

    But anyways, here's a good enemy of them if you really want info on these nutcases.

    Also Lisa there had a memorial brick in her hometown (like a plaque). The name was mysteriously scratched off one day. No other names on the other bricks, just hers. The town replaced it.

    Maybe the same way the early colonists got suckered by the evangelical Methodists, Baptists, and Presbyterians. 

    Read a book called "Southern Cross - The Beginnings of the Bible Belt" by Christine Heyrman and you'll see some of the stuff the colonists went through when the evangelicals came to town. 

    And there are people that would like us to go back to that time.  And some that would like us to go back even further to the Puritan days.  

    Another thing that's interesting in that book are letters from the evangelicals of the period describing Thomas Jefferson.  He was described as nothing short of the devil by the clergy and the followers of the evangelicals.

    Damned if I know. Hell, 11 high level members got thrown in jail for plotting on spying on the government (the Operation Snow White in the video) yet the group is still going. Maybe they write it off as a joke.
