Why would they do this? GArva made the post... "A quick poll"... when have they ever done something like this... Or is this jsut something to focus the players on instead of aksing about everything else? You know, another tell us what you like so we can ignore you post...Just doesnt make any sense... Also as a side note HELIOS is BACK.. He made 2 posts today...

"We’re running a quick poll and need YOUR input! All input must be before Monday!!

1.      SWG Boss NPC players “love to hate” – What makes this boss NPC the one that you love to hate?

2.      Funniest/Silliest Quest – Why was it the funniest or silliest quest?

3.      Best/Most memorable Quest – Why was it the most memorable or best quest?

4.      Best/Funniest “/” Commands – Why?

5.      Best/Most Desired Items - What lengths did you go to obtain that most desired item?

Here is what we need from you:

We would like your opinion on all of these areas, as well as a quick little blurb as to why you made the decision that you did.

Also please do not conduct discussions in this thread please.

    Looks like they are trying to keep the boards occupied, doing trivial meaningless things.

    Either that, or they are trying to figure out what cool new additions they are going to lie about at the summit.

    Whats your take Xcathdra

    interesting that Helios is back, gonna have to check that out.

    I dunno to be honest.. I dont care for SOE and what they did to the game so I of course go for the bad side of things... I think they are diverting attention away from the restuss failure.. Maybe your right about trying to find out what they want to announce at the summit also... Who knows... Either or it looks bad...

    The problem wiht this kind of crap at this time is that it doesn't prove anything.   All it does is let the dominate folks talk (rather than the majority) rathat than the entire population.

    If a player had posted this (esp. because of the first question) it would have been deleted for not being related to the SWG gaming experience.  Hypocrites.  Maybe SWGMod001 will whack Garva's post.

    There is nothing new or strange about this move from SOE they have been trying things like this since before 22 november 2005 only thing thats changed is (NGE + talentless system + restuss = failure) even there own forum is full of players gripping about this.

    Only the most die hard fan's are keeping up the hype about SWG but there number is dropping by the month - fanbio please remember when i played there was 250k players and SOE was'nt happy with that many so if you think there happy with you - you are deluded - fanbios you are next on SOE's hit list.

    After all of the mess going on in $OE land at the moment i wouldn't be giving them any info on any of their polls.  At first they used the polls to try improving the game, now they ask for polls and don't do anything with the results. 

    I wouldn't be surprised if they're using the poll data to make another horrible change to the game or focus on taking all the player opinions for a port to console for the PS3

    Also, this just shows that they have no creative leader over there.  If they have to keep using polls and questionares to add content to the game then they're obiviously not qualified for improving the game.  All they need is some common sense and the patience to sift through the thousands of old forum posts that had incredible ideas.  Asking this is probably too much though.  They could even sift through the old .TRE files and look at all the content already in the cd's that was never brought out into the game.

    This in a way means no different.

    I am sorry but unless your new -- if one person says:  "My favorite time was when it took me 34 seconds to kill a Krayt dragon  the end."  Somebody should flame him,

    I know I'm off-topic here, but this reminds me of the time on Ahazi I was trying to solo an Ancient with my Rifleman / TKM / Fencer pre-CU.  40 minutes of using T21 for damage, switch to VK so I get TK innate armor and heal up, rinse repeat...  Finally I had to resort to dragging him into town in hopes somebody came along that could help.

    After 20 more minutes, the legendary wookiee Stacky showed up and helped me finish him off in about 2 minutes with me tanking and him blasting away.  Stacky was cool, he realized I had been fighting this thing for an hour and gave me the loot.  I thought that was classy. 

    Dangit...somebody made me remember good times again!

    I realize I said I quit. I never said it was forever :)

    If I understand SOE's design methodology correctly, they are polling to find out the user's favorite features so that they can remove them from the game.

    They do this crap all the time...   Very seldomly do they follow through with actual execution though.

    Devs haven't posted anything to forums for days. This is just something to fool people "Look we care you! We ask you!". They won't read feedback. Just get sometime while doing NOTHING for game

    Very true Genwa they never really care about the community at all every time i go on there forums the devs just talk about the most stubidest things ever "camping" "So u just sit back and LOL" i think that was brout up about 3weeks ago ill try to look for a link.
