Hi it's me again, this time I'm here to ask you what you think about the Last Chaos open beta so far. Personally I would rate the game 7/10, graphics are great with all the glowing/shining effects and gameplay isn't that bad apart from the easy ksing. what really put me off was the lack of quests and the grinding was horrible, the quests don't give much xp reward so you end up grinding to the next level in order to get something new to do. Another thing that put me off (now don't laugh because this is stupid) is the type of font they use in the game, that squarish font they use really gets at me and I really hate it (I told you it was a stupid thing). So what do you think? Please post your views and complaints about this open beta.

Well the game itself isnt that bad, but it seems to be a mostly grinding game which is getting boring fast.
Indeed, you have very little free space to create your own charracter and also ingame you will be sent from monster to monster after hunting tons of them without anything else to do
For those who like a gringing game it isn't that bad, try it out, but for me, it gets boring after a few hours of playing it. Also i hope that this game gets improved, so in the future it might be a very nice game which prevents lots of hours full of funny gameplay

gameplay wise: is there any auto attack? dam click fest.
quests are stupid and if you put them on hold you just wont be abble to start them even speaking to the npc.
this game is just a grind fest. its was also very laggy +600ms
i am so tired of theses pseudo ASIAN MMORPG with fag point and click to move and their crazed tree skill wich are so hard to planify or understand.
Gonna be a great game... Apparently people didnt go looking around for the NPC that glow, but that standard lazy Americans and Europeans. There are ton of great quests, that give 8k xp , 17k xp , and +2 / +1 weapons. The upgrade system is beyond cool, Bloodseals , allow you to customize your armor, with varies features and bonuses, for only 1k each. You can easily make 50k, in 2 hours hunting Elder Werewolves, or Greater Horn Beasts. You can also use trash items, to improve your armor , greatly without much effort. I have had a hand in making a few +5 and +6 items.
Where as EQ2 , and Lineage 2 , where the rewards suck for quests, you can get some amazing items , that well worth the time to hunt down some monsters that you are killing. There are alot of quests that involve just running a map or two (using teleport system) to give an NPC captain update or information. Which gives 8k for the first one, +2 gloves or +1 boots above your lvl.
You also wear armor 6 levels above your current level , allowing tanks and rogues to fight higher lvl monsters. The healer is so much fun to play, not only can she tank most red monsters, she is blast in personal dungeons. Which yeiild killer rewards , 3k gold and xp + moonstone.
I play a healer , my experience with everything turned up, this game is far superior to western games , like EQ2 , DOAC , and WOW. The ability to improve yourself from around lvl 5, is better than any system out there, and the rewards (drops) are alot better than EQ2 and WOW. In 2 hours , I get 50% weight from varies drops , and gold.
Another cool thing, for AFKers , is the crafting system, you can afk in the mines , or energy fields, walk away with 400k a night (around 6 hours , and +3 skill lvl). You can turn those resources into XP gems , and other crystals. Or if you are doing the plants, you can make a couple of potions, that sell for 250 to 300 gold each.
Then there is the gambling system, the system proviods killer rewards for moonstones. You can get minerals that boost your defense, attack, magic attack, and attack rating by 125 to 500 points. Which when you get into a party can allow you to tank higher lvl mobs. You can also get weapons , healing items, and varies other goodies. I play the slots everynight , around 20k to 40k in moonstones. I got alot of stuff, most times I use it to increase my friends weapons and armor (healer doesnt get hurt much for some reason and I can self heal most damage save from things that hit me 300 damage each time. But then I m not suppose to tank.)
I was by the ocean with my static , at around lvl 10, getting 1 or 2 lvls a night , cause I m working on SP for crafting. But when we get going good , I got 3 lvls in around 2 hours , using a lvl 19 knight, 15 rogue , and me I was 16 at the time.
When you turn on the features in the options , you get grass , and flowers , which makes it look good.
EQ and WOW to me had very bland areas , the area where the Bad started and area where the Orks started looked terrible. Here you got nice rolling hills, flowers , trees , and really good spawn areas. Not just in one select area , but in many areas.
Also in EQ and WOW , the action was much slower, in Lineage 2 the action was slow between fights. Here the action is fast, you can pull muliple mobs , and live to tell about it.
Once they begin adding the updates, for the stuff to come it will be superior to Lineage 2.
i am glad you like it. but personaly i wasnt able to go beyond lv5 even if i did a lot of sadomasochist grind in my life (ie lineage I) i hvent played lineage II since i end up disgusted from the first title.
i have tryed so many mmorpg these last years, in fact i am a gaming addict but i always end up burned out, usually 3 to 4 months after the start. the exception was WOW wich i play since the first day its come out, i even bought the game three times (...) but what disgusted me in WOW was not the grind, its just the Raid system at 40. if you arent in the "good" guild, you are SCREW. so i did stop WOW for three months now

i wish a mindfull dev will a day create a spacesim mmorpg with dogfight in a almost unlimited X, Y, Z World.
Combining Combat, Trade, Exploration, Randomness, innovation, and a whole new level of community

It is a total grind fest. You spend most lvls killing the same mob. At the moment at lvl 12 i get like 0.35% per sasquatch and that to me = Yawn
That is because American and Eurpean gamers are lazy. Jags drop rings and earing, I took my Titan out for a spin, got 5 rings in about an hour, sold them for 40k to 100k. Got a ton of armor, weapons , moonstones. I must had made around 400k today. I got my +4 weapon from the treasure chest, the first time , and now I m lvl 12 , with tons of plus gear , bloodseals and two lvl 21 swords at +3.
I get about 2 lvls a day on my Healer , who is mainly doing SP and I got 12 lvls in about 3 1/2 hours with my titan. Around 100 sp on him too , with most of his skills at +4. But I think I m gonna make him a weaponsmith.
All you have to do , is research a little what monster drops what item, then you can make tons of money.
I took my healer through the personal dungeon this morning , got 8 sp per run , and 1 moonstone. So I have around 12 moonstones , 35k, and 80 or so SP from this morning. If I wanted XP I would go hunt Red name monsters , SP yellow or white named monsters.
There is a nice mage on the 1st server cluster, dont remember her name, but she made a 20 medium potions at 200 each, for my titan. So I have no downtime, plus all the free candy I m getting.
Why you have to say American & Europeans gamers are lazy. That has nothing to do with the game. The game has a grind. At least, that is my opinion and I can not look past the point & click. But I am glad you like the game. Have fun with it.......
Because all Euro and Americans do is whine and complain. They dont want to do research into how play the game and get the best out of it. You should how lame some of these people are in RF Online , Lineage 2, and EQ2, they want things simple and easy. (And the Euros on the Eurpean server must have all been French or Spainish in RF Online because like none of them would go to Chip Wars unless you could say for fact that you would win... Waa I dont want to fight because I might die. I spent 1 week there getting 40 and I got to got to say the Euros on Acc side where a bunch of cowards. It was the Americans and Assies defending the chip).
Koreans dont copy Western or produce Western style, because it doesnt sell in Asia. Asia is the main market, US market is so so and Euro market is crap. You ever read the boards on some of these games , from Euros and Americans , nothing but "Waaa I have to play for 5 hours to get something good."
All games have some form of grind , be it equipment , like Everquest 2 , I have to sit with guild mates for 10 hours , roating between people watching and sleeping to make rare monsters spawn. The only game that doesnt have much grind is WOW , and that game is far too easy. You can run most on the instant dungeons solo or with 2 people by lvl 40.
Korean game makers are doing the same thing that the Euro game makers did in the 90s. They produce what sells in emass , to thier target group, then ship it off to North America. Dont even get me started on shipping it off to Euro, I was talking to one guy from England who said 10.00 a month is too much money. Hell if 10.00 a month is too much you need to find another form of entertainment. Or move someplace with a better job. I m on SSI and can easily afford 3 games , with little budgeting.
Cant even get a freaking pizza or movie for 10.00 anymore.
In the 90s we saw a ton of lame Panazer knock offs , and turn base rpgs, using a group model that sold. You still find these games in Shareware disk and Office Depot.
Compared to western games , these new games by Korean game markers are far superior. They have alot better rewards , cheaper upgrades , a nice bow to crafters in most cases. That one thing that making an appearance in some of these games , is the raid lvl gear isnt superior to crafted gear. Which is better for causal gamers.
Western games , have nothing at the end of them. Unless you like to raid 24/7. Korean games have superior PVP , and some them have intense action like CoH but you dont get bored after 2 months of playing.
There is nothing wrong with point and click for movement. Most do include keyboard movement, if you learn to enable, but when you are PVPing , using two hand to control attacks is lame. Its one of the reason that EQ2 pvp system is bad , because in a middle of fight , you got to quick use a second hand (normally left) to get out there. Where as with point and click you hit the hozion and take off , spin the camera so you can see who is coming after you and look for your guildmates. Shadowbane the most western style PVP game uses point and click as well , its superior for PVP.
The other thing that is getting lame in western style MMORPZGs is travel time. In EQ2 , I spent my most time in route to someplace , for 1 hour and then Call back. In Korean games , they often have a very nice teleport system in place , for example in LastChaos , they got memory scroll, you put in 5 location, and instantly be there once you been there and they are cheap I think I spent 3k to 6 of them last night.
From reading the beta releases of game like Vanguard , where sometimes even on horse you spent 2 hours getting to group. That doesnt sound like fun, either does corpse runs.
The other thing I m really enjoying in these games is the pet systems. LostChoas doesnt have the summoner released yet but in alot of the games they have very nice pet system. In Hero Online half the fun of the game is getting a mount and high lvl pet to train with. In EQ2 , the summoning classes with pets still have major bugs and the pets are watered down. Last time I played my Necro her pet had it hp reduced , it got stuck in walls , and its taunt was super weak. I could pull hate from easier than you get a prom queen to strip for ya.
DAOC , has a class called Bonedancer, the class is super bugged , pets disappear , causing status effects and tons of other problems (including if you design your character right is pretty unstoppable in PVP). Now in Korean mmorpgs , the pets have better skills , strong but not overpowered and in Eudemon Online can save your bacon.
I just had to comment on totasl bs i just read.I played Eq extensively although i don't play it anymore.The epic quests are extremely good and the drops from them are far superioir to any games drops,albeit you really have to earn them with good team work.You say eq and wow are too slow?i gotta laugh because when you do an epic quest in EQ2 the mobs come fast and furious ,and you don;t just fight one at a time but maybe 3/4/5/6/ or even more.
The action speed is based on what you make of it,wich is exactly the way it should be.If you want to walk through a densely populated creature area in EQ2 all the power to ya,and yes it will be extremely fast paced.

To sum it all up,your post pretty much did everything to state what a lame and garbage game it is.You didn't do it any justice whatsoever.All you said was its EASY to level..it's EASY to kill....it's EASY to make money...The good drops are EASY to get.Geesus it sounds to me like a candidate for an asian botter that wants everything but doesn't want to earn anything.Another thing i might point out is that you are comparing a couple things to lineage2 wich is a VERY old unreal engine.Since this game is new ,try comparing it to an unreal4 engine,that would be a fair comparison.
REWARDS for going AFK.....WHATA JOKE!!nuff said that sums it up right there.Since so many little kiddie players like to look for cheats and bots i can see what type of crowd this game is catering to.

EQ2 quest rewards are not for the individual , all it did was put a hardship on the player , by producing the first ever "forced grouping". The only thing worst than EQ2's force grouping is FF11 which you cant not even play without a party.
EQ2 rewards and still are crap , take a look at the Armor Quest, its a small army to go to the place , because all the monsters are now grouped. And when you get the armor complete , its worthless , better armor can be bought or found (if you got the patience to camp spawns). The system for improving armor in Eq2 is joke , you can make it heal you every few ticks , but required when i playing 3 crafters to make the items in question and crafters were hard to come by because of the lame crafting system. You had to produce 3 alts to make decent items, which were out done by raid gear.
It took just as much time and effort to make the gear , as it did to kill the raid boss. Most times the people raiding , were complete A-holes, like when they did the towers deal for the sky update. A high power guild would take your raid boss , after you spawned it.
Eq2 was all about grouping emass for rewards and they were always out done by something bigger (often times taking hours of camping to get)
Our static at lvl 22 - 25 , get 5k per monster , and often times , its 3.5k per monster. You have to fight reds to get high xp, whites for high Sp and yellow/oj for mix of the two. On average you gain 1 SP every 30 to 40 seconds on white , every 2 minutes on Reds and 1 1/2 minutes on yellow.
My titan currently my crafter, hunts Sand Golems solo , since I produce medium , small, fast and mana potions. I get over 5k per kill from them, I hunt ghouls in the temple with a healer friend , which are yellow and white to me, getting 1.5k per kill and 1.5k in SP . Sometimes higher or lower because monsters can be higher lvl or lower lvl in a group.
The rogue I been playing with on Titan , only plays 3 hours a night with us, she just started yesterday morning , and will be 23 , tommorrow night.
Only problem I have is producing enough lvl 20 - 30 armor for people who I play , dont even try to sell it anymore.
