Ok!, so just letting you guys know that their beta happened to open today. This is an First Person Shooter military type game.   I personally have never played the game. Is it worth it? Do you actually work with your teamates like the rainbow six series?

I really want to try it, I hope I don't need to go via fileplanet.

Active pay-subscription to Fileplanet to download the client is not needed there  2 free download links from fileplanet which puts u in waiting list  which doesnt take long time.

    Use the
promo-code "NHCHEAPO" to waive the setup fee

I did and i am downloading it fine without having to do any loopholes.

EDIT: Just played Warrock and I must say its quite impressive. The vehicles are fluid and turn nicely. The controlls are extremely friendly and the gameplay is not bad at all. I could see myself paying for something like this, not bad. Only thing I dislike is that the upgraded weapons that you buy only last for a certain number of days.

    edit:

well its fun but a little repetitive after playing a whole night. btw its not really an MMORPG... the only similarity is that you can gain a few rank/level, use "Skill Points" to Roll forward, left or right and aslo buy better weapons for a limited time. (a few days)
the game is a mix joint operation / counter strike / team fortress made by koreans lol. all the contextual content is translated but there still the voice acting in korean screaming "Nissaan" and some other ...
you can play one of the five class (Commando, Medic, Scout, Demolition or Engineer) on any of the two sides. there no permanent choice you change side/class as you like.
there 3 modes basicly: one with small maps where you have to place or difuse bomb, or just kill the other team (like CS). the second mode are medium maps with flags/base to control, you can drive vehicles (tank,  jeep, anti-air atm, sub machine-gun atm, truck, cross bike) and the third mode is same as the second but with bigger maps and add bomber planes/chopper to fly.
the 3d engine is well made, the loading is fast, the user interface is nice too. i bet you can run on low spec comp.
the downsides? i dont see many.. the falling damage is some way buggy.

Finding it a bit of a disappointment, its kinda like an inferior version of bf2 with worse graphics and with an odd korean style.

Ahhh, you see, I guess considering I never played Battle Fiend 2 that I am not spoiled(not using this word in the bad sense, just... trying to make a point) by the great gameplay of BF2, so I can enjoy War Rock a bit more. That might be the reason I like it so much.

Possibly but then again I hardly play bf2 either, preferring the hl mods which to me is more appealing. But I guess it could be a good game, just not a game that I like really.

How long is it going to take these companies to learn that no one wants to play an mmo in first person. If you can't see your character whats the point?

Crap game tbh. I didn't think it was worth it at all.

Ive played the game in closed beta....was ok for a bit...didnt have any of the jets or anything when I was playing so I don't know how its like now with them...im sure it adds more to the game...but anyways the game got really repetitive after playing for more then 30min to me...lots of lag (hopefully thats fixed now)...and a great deal of glitches and bugs (falling through map and being able to shooting anyone)...since its open now im guessing most of that is fixed...but I think ill give it a try sometime soon...

this game was free already one year ago..why you talking about open beta ? it had only 4-5 maps some months ago but nothing really new, better try bf2 and install realitymod.

hmm I adjust my opinion of this somewhat. I had another go off it and it actually seemed a lot more enjoyable, I think perhaps the intial maps I had tried I wasn't overly impressed with. The map I last tried, no idea the name but it was quite action packed. I would say it could be pretty decent for a free game.

Ridiculous game that really doesn't deserve to exist. In most points, it's a ripoff of BF1942, and in the rest of the points it's just horrible netcode and bad gaming experience. You can pull out your sidearm and shoot a person 6 times in the head, only to watch him turn around and pop you with that sniper he's running around with, rambo style. What's up with that? And the rifles are impossible to use, it's just waste of bullets all over the place. As for the rocket launcher, it doesn't kill people unless you hit them straight on. Doesn't matter that there's a huge explosion and everything, no, people don't die from a rocket unless it smacks them straight in the face. That's just bad. But apart from it being a really sad game, I must admit, it's a nice try to clone a game. It just sucked. Oh, and you actually have to exit out of a game you're in, just to change mouse sensitivity, and then you can go back ingame, just to see that it's still wrong and you have to go out, again, to change it once more. And the keys aren't customizable.

Oh yeah, and if you're lying around, very still, in prone position, you still can't hit with a sniper. It just shoots all over the place with a 2 second delay from when you pull the trigger to when it hits. Now if we take some numbers; say the average speed of a bullet fired from a large rifle, like a sniper rifle. Roughly 1500 m/s. Thats roughly 5000 feet per second, for you american guys. Now come on, I really doubt these maps are over 3000 metres in length, not even if you move out to the very edge of them. So... Anyway, no diss against koreans trying to make a gunz/BF clone, but they've really done a bad job at it.

After playing more I don't think its anything like bf1942. I think you're looking at the fact, its got snipers, its got vehicles, its got heavies therefore it must be like bf1942!! Not really, especially since the classes are standard and vehicles are becomming a large part of fps' as this is what an army simulation is! I would say the game is very different in style but only similar to bf. Its not perfect, I mean you can't run people over!!, but I would say its certainly decent for a freegame.
