WoW the only option for Mac?

Hey all first post, Ive been trying to get my feet wet again with some MMOs. I have a powerbook and for awhile I didn't play anything on it, my primary interest being my music collection. but then I remembered the fun I had playing everquest even though the mac servers were empty. Well fast forward to today and I'm at a loss at what to play. I've already played a trial WoW account and It was pretty fun but I didnt like the fact that the story was so linear and there was no community at all. So any of you Mac guru's out there, what are my options. also are there any MMOs currently in development? also please no one tell me to get a pc, that isnt an option right now.

I know shadowbane works with a mac, possibly even A Tale In the Desert. Other than that I dont thing the options for mac are too great. Best thing you could do would be to install that boot camp thing and duel boot with windows to play mmo's?

yeah, I'm a mac person through and through. Having said that , there really is a dearth of online games for the Mac.

At the moment there is (to my knowledge) WoW and Shadowbane. I think EQ (original) has a Mac Client.

The good news is that if you have (or are planning to buy) one of the new Intel Macs (and keep your eyes peeled for the new professional Towers which are rumored to make an appearance around the start of August) then you may be able to use "Boot Camp" in order to run the windows operating system.

In my main game of Lineage 2, one of my former clan members had a coworker running Boot Camp on an Intel Mac Laptop. Said it worked very well.

Other than that I'm afraid that there isn't a whole lot else at the moment.

Dofus is made in Flash, looks great and has a very clever turnbased combat system. There is a free trial. dofus.com

Second Life has a Mac client, I think.
Vendetta Online, if you like dogfights in space.
    Lineage (v1, the old one)

I don't play any of these currently though

i have an intel mac and am wondering if anyone has played any demanding mmorpgs using Boot-Camp on an Intel Mac, im still feeling a bit skeptical about how mmorpgs would run with windows XP on a mac,

Now if you had a dual processer Intel/Mac G5 your problems would be solved. My dad is getting one but he deals with music making not games even though he will have the ultimate gaming computer. The one he is looking at has like 8 gb of RAM. Thats right 8 gigabytes of RAM. And to top that it comes with all of the high line video cards. But if a PC is out of the question this is to.
