I'm very pleased that in a few days I shall finally be holding an Xbox360, as its shiney graphics amaze me, I look back at my poor poor computer collecting dust...but why? because PC game developers are bringing out a new empire of "better" graphic games, meaning I'd have to keep upgrading and at the moment I just don't have that kind of money. So does anybody agree with me in wanting the better graphics to be toned down a slight bit more and the expanded amount of gameplay to be tuned up!?

Thanks for reading.

I agree with you.. people are paying to much atention to graphics, placing gameplay in a 2nd position... I mean, it's good to play games whith pretty graphics, but if I ant to look at some pretty graphics I'll go watch a movie from Dreamworks or Pixar... Even the FF movie if you prefer more realistic graphics...

But on a second note, you say you don't have the money to upgrade your computer, yet you are buying a X360... mmm

So you bought a $600 console instead?

    Heres some info:

The vast majority of games are made to lie on top of middleware. This means that they can be simultaneously deployed on PC & XBOX. XBOX live costs money. You need to have a PC to download the software to hack an XBOX - therefore the cost of your PC *ADDS* on top of the cost for your xbox. You dont have to get a new graphics card every 6 months - you jus dont know how to upgrade yours. Software drivers are constantly refined giving a couple of % increas every time. If you overclock your card you can get an extra 5-50% out of it.

A normal TV has a resolution of 640-480....

Plasma & LCD TVs look pixelated because they increase 640-480 to the size of a painting...

The XBOX 360 will probably never be cracked - you will always be paying $80 a game.

I could go on forever but hell... you dont care you got bill gates **** in your hand.

    Grimboj,

First, who the hell said anything about hacking?  I didn't see anything about that.

    Also, get your facts right.

The TOP XBOX360 system is $400, and the one under that is $300.  The only console that will be $600 is the PS3.  Also, games are $60 when brand new, not $80.  XBOX Live is $50 a YEAR.  Is that really that bad?  $50 for an entire year of online gaming?  And for the TVs, XBOX360s all support HDTV right out of the box.  Even then, you don't even have to use a TV in the first place.  I play mine on my computer LCD monitor at full resolution.

The 360 is a great system.  You may not like it, but don't spread lies about it.

Lol? Hack a console? What are you talking about? Are you refering to mod chips to play bootleg/imports? If you are using one of those you are a fool. If you connect to XBOX Live while you have a mod on your system is locked down, end of story, youre screwed. I had a friend from school who lost 2 XBOX's a few years ago because he forgot to turn his mod thing off, twice. Also i dont even think they have those for the 360 yet, and if so whats the point, their arent any games out there worth bootleging/importing. And you do NOT need to connect to your pc to download stuff for the XBOX or the 360. Why the hell do you think they have Internet ports? So they can just act as routers?

You cant "crack" a console man. You can crack a program on youre pc, you can crack a mirror, a jar, a bat, concrete, but you cant crack a console, what exactly are you going to be cracking, the memory card manager? You can add a "mod" chip to it to read imports and bootlegs, thats it. Also like the above poster said, 360 games are no more than $60, except the Collectors Edition of Oblivion which is $70.

I hate Microsoft just as much as Sony....but the quoted post is just wow.

I personally would rather stick with my PC.

Almost every game comes out on PC (Eventually), especially Xbox Games. I Could pay the same price for a new Graphics Card and Overclock it and end up at or above the equivalent of an Xbox 360. I'd rather not have to pay for online gaming (I.E. Xbow Live) when I can get it for free (Unless we count MMO's). The only advantage Console Gaming has is the couch, and that isn't enough to want me to bother with getting one.

Besides, don't 360's Break a lot? I heard somebody had gone through about 4 of them.

True but a majority of the high graphic games come out the xbox-xbox360 such as F.E.A.R. or Prey, which is something I always got jealous of when I owned a PS2, I stopped wanting to buy one when such games as GTA and the Lotr series weren't coming out but now they are...you'll won't be laughing when the PS3 and its huge ass prices come out......=D buy an XBOX!! lmao
