At what point...

in Star Wars Galaxies

At what point does the NEW game ehancements just become game enhancements. Eventually the newness has to wear off right. If you get a new car, do you still call it a new car eight months later? I personally thought that the enhancements got old very fast but that's just my opinion.

Any way I guess that if nothing else this is proof that the NGE will not last.

I don't claim to be right, I'm just posting.

    sorry but I refuse to say amen to anything using the word neutered. spayed perhaps I would say something but neutered, I'll sit quietly with my legs crossed.

    A new car ceases to be a new car when the "new car smell" goes away.

    With the NGE, the smell just keeps getting stronger, so the time obviously has not come.

    I realize I said I quit. I never said it was forever :)

    I really believe that the smell that you are detecting in SWG right now is from the dead corpses of cancelled accounts and the whining of pre-teens that cry over anything encluding trying to be an elder of any profession.

    Just one definition, seems to describe dev/smed attitude though.
     As in; Just doesn't care anyway. (As a business/corporation, alienating customers is 
    an ODD decision)

    Or, Smed / SOE just could be mereley "imperfect"

    I don't know. I have found many new games since the New Game enhancement came out. It has enhanced many new games for me and contiues to do so.
