EVE Online has announced another new and innovative feature for their already popular sci-fi MMORPG. It seems as though they have debuted something called "EVE TV". EVE Tv brings watchers live coverage on ingame events, and more!

 

EVE TV now live!

EVE TV is now a reality. Watch live coverage of ingame events mixed in with commentary and analysis from PVP experts, all live from CCP headquarters. EVE TV also brings you exclusive interviews with the Dev and GM teams.

Coverage is between 15.00 and 21.00 GMT on the 14th, 15th and 16th, and then 21st 22nd and 23rd of July.

    It's actually pretty neat. It's like watching ESPN, but it's Eve-online PvP battles.

    I have just been tapped on the shoulder by the CCP Devloper,
    Mephesto who told me that the news has been posted.


    We have been rather stunned at just how well the first 3 days of broadcasting
    have gone, we underestimated the number of people who would tune in by a factor
    of 5, and I think we are all very proud with the quality of the broadcasts.

    We are encoding a higher bandwidth version of the files to help show you guys
    the full effect. I will post the link to them when we have uploaded them.

    I am glad to see this has been made avaible as a torrent to acquire the missed broadcasts.

    For those who hadn't a chance to see this it is recomended.  If you like video games, regardless of the genre, you should do yoursefl a favor and watch it.  Get a drink and some more drinks for your friends.  The best thing is seeing how the game play evolves beyond the "all i can do is warp for hours and make dinner". 

    And I would like to say to everyone, Welcome to EVE Online!

    Definatly worth watching, its like the world cup... but with Flying spaceships of glory and death shooting beams of holy redemption at each other in the passion of battle!!! So basically its the same as the world cup...

    Not so many beams and ALOT more missles. Missles of Holy Redemption somewhat like a holy hand grenade.
