Whether a game is free has nothing to do with whether it is on this web site - this web site only hosts good games xD

Ok since you dint give any info on your play style I am going to give you my opinion on the best free mmo according my play style(which is casual pvp). I suggest guild wars if u want to see what its like wait about two weeks for the open pvp event for chapter 3(link:http://www.guildwars.com/press/releases/pressrelease-2006-07-18.php). The last pvp event they had a key which you download the game(form the main site) and play for the duration of the event. Also read up on the reviews, go to fan sites, etc and judge for your self. webpage:www.guildwars.com

There is a free to play MMORPG game called Martial Heroes. It is based on some oriental era where you can play, an assassin, monk, warrior or mage. They each have their own skill trees and weapon/armor specific to their class. The world is fairly large and packed full of quests early in the game which helps you level up very quick. There are time specific areas where monsters spawn that give you more experience than you would normally get. They also hold battle events where super hard monsters spawn and drop items for every hit they recieve. There is a crafting system but it's not a major focus for most. Surprisingly enough the graphics are better than you would think for it being a free game.
The game is free for ever. However there is an online store where you can buy cetain in game speical items.

Depends what you're looking for 'in' a free MMORPG....
I would probably try Shadowbane if you think hardcore PvP is your thing. You will need to look up how to build your character, but once that's out of the way you may find the territory (well, city and mines anyway) based PvP to your liking. Also has massive outdoor PvP. Guild Wars is meant to be good, but it's not really a MMORPG; more a PvP contest. However said fights are meant to be awesome. Hope you don't mind paying for the box though, but its free after that.
Failing that, try Silkroad Online. Grindfest personified, but the PvP is meant to be ok and there's an interesting 'triangular conflict' system. It seems to be the best of the current Korean MMO crop.
Space Cowboy. Didn't like it myself, but meant to be a fast-paced shooter MMO.
Endless Online was, while I played it briefly,a very promising in-the-works alpha 2d isometric MMO. It has magic, levels and even an interesting 'PvP arena'. This one is worth a try.
RTS? Another one I haven't played in a while,or in-depth,but Shattered Galaxy was meant to be a good MMORTS. You don't have full advantages if you F2P,but the concept is simple. You take 6 units to warzones, and fight loads of other 6-unit based players. A bit like Planetside in a way,but more fast.
And if you're willing to try 14-day free trials, give EVE Online a go. I have to admit that if I hadn't discovered the joys of Shadowbane,I'd probably be working on paying for this game. You can do whatever you want here. Like PvE? Missions galore. Like PvP? Go outside 0.5 space and its FFA PvP. Like territory? 0.0 space is full of POS (player-owned stations) and massive alliance/corporation conflicts. (EVE landscape is like a safety net from 1.0 to 0.1 space, then a giant outer bubble of 0.0 FFA space) Mature community will help you all the way to your first kill; shocked me that MMO communities could be like this!
My personal suggestion? Try EVE Online trial, then go to Shadowbane or Silkroad Online.
I'd say TalesWeaver! It has fantastic graphics absoluutly easy to pick up it has everyting!! Only downside... No english version out there AND.. It will never be english. ) Only Jap of Kor ) Playing the Korean version now. Very friendly english guilds on the Korean client!
My opinion about Tibia is fast and simple: "THAT GAME SUX"...
And i want to ask one thing... someone told about trickster... well, i already know about that game, but i would like to know which is better: Nostale or Trickster????
Give your opinion!
Thanks,
Youkitsu.
PS: I just want to know whats the best *>>FREE<<* MMORPG in *>>YOUR<<* opinion...

Definitely not a RO clone. Feels a bit like it but overall it's a much better game
